If you are a poet and you didn't even know it

Anyone have Turkish poems
One of my favourite
Bana seni gerek seni,
Aşkın aldı benden beni,
Bana seni gerek seni.
— Yunus Emre, Bana Seni Gerek Seni

Sonata come what may
When you speak,
you soothe me like a saxophone playing under a bridge.
A solitary sonata whose echoes reverberate,
bouncing off wet asphalt and cold concrete,
turning every harsh edge soft.
Your voice carries the weight of a midnight walk,
unhurried, smoky, and bittersweet.
A low, brass heart beating in the dark,
Bending through the silenced street.
Like a melody that knows exactly where to touch,
long after the player has walked away.
It lingers within me..
This warm, velvet note.
In a world filled with excessive noise.
Your voice is the solo..
Drifting Wolf.
Such is the familiar sound of another broken soul.

Magnetic passing - 5 Chained Haiku.
I. The Disconnect
Love’s magnetic pull,
Close enough to feel the force,
Never fully linked.
II. The Push and Pull
You get drawn right in,
Yet she turns and pushes back
Held in shifting space.
III. Fixed States
Some are easily
Drawn together every time,
Some always repel.
IV. The Shift
Constant for a while,
Then the sudden shift takes hold
Polarity flips.
V. Suspended
Neither bound nor freed,
Caught right in the space between
Loyalty hovers.

You ask me if I will ever leave you? I ask you does someone leave their soul?

🔴 A Mother's Wisdom, A Daughter's Inheritance
◼️_The True Ornaments of Humanity_
A little girl asked this of her dear mother;
Tell me about all jewellery, since I am unclear.
Which pieces are good, make this known to me;
And which of them are bad, that too explain to me.
So that I may distinguish between the good and the bad;
And by your blessing, this secret may be revealed to me.
The mother then replied, with love, O Daughter mine;
To these words on jewellery, an attentive heart incline.
Jewellery of silver, gold - people may call it fine.
But never, sweetheart mine, let it captivate your mind.
The glint of silver, gold, is only a thing to see.
Four days of silvery light, and then dark night will be.
It is for you to cherish jewellery of another kind;
From which the good of faith and the world you may find.
Good sense, dear, be the head fringe (jhoomar) that adorns your head;
For through it, human affairs are wisely led.
Let the earrings in your ear, my dear, be those of awareness;
And let countless words of good counsel fill your dangling earrings.
Let the pendants of advice be pleasing to the heart;
Act upon their wisdom, and let your fortunes brightly start.
Ornaments that burden your ears bring nothing but pain;
Let the counsel of the Book enter your ears again.
And if some jewellery you need to put upon your neck,
Good deeds, my beloved, be the necklace upon your neck.
Let the strength of your arms be your true armlets,
And may success keep you joyful and content.
All of the jewellery of the arm, none of it serves an end;
The strength of your own arms, O daughter, is what you need.
More precious than jewellery for the hands is handiwork fine;
Handiwork is a skill toward which all may incline.
What will you do, O my dear, with anklets that ring away?
O Daughter, a nuisance like that just simply throw away!
The finest ornament for the feet is the light of insight;
Remain steadfast on the righteous path, sure-footed and upright.
If silver and gold adorn not your feet, have no fear,
So long as your feet never stray from the path of right, my dear.

Alright, if you could prioritise just a few qualities to nurture in a child during their formative years, which would come first for you, and why? 👀

The Endless Journey
Love is not a destination,
It’s a journey made of light —
A little laugh in the morning,
A quiet hug in the night.
It’s not about reaching somewhere,
Not a trophy you have to win,
It’s living every heartbeat,
Feeling magic deep within.
Love is walking side by side,
With trust as your only guide,
Finding joy in tiny moments,
Where two souls slowly collide.
It’s not a place you travel to,
Not the finish, not the start —
Love is the gentle rhythm
That keeps dancing in the heart.
