A woman shouldn't have to dim her success to make others feel comfortable with hers.

Do you know what I’ve noticed?

The difference between the young and the old people. Young people don’t ask why you aren’t married yet or they dont ask anything about your past what did not succeed; instead, they ask how your day was or whether you’ve had anything to eat—regardless of whether you’re a man or a woman. They're bold. Older people (30+), on the other hand, seem to expect that question to be asked to them, rather than asking it themselves. Or am I wrong about that? How low can a bar be?

The Art of Being Curious

I've always found something rather fascinating about people who never lose their curiosity, regardless of their age, experiences, or how much they think they already know.

Those who can have a conversation about history over a cup of coffee, admire the architecture of an old building, appreciate the beauty of a different culture, or become completely absorbed in a subject they knew nothing about just yesterday.

There is something incredibly charming about a mind that refuses to stop exploring.

I believe the most interesting conversations are rarely the ones where everyone agrees. Sometimes, it's an unexpected opinion, a different perspective, or a simple question that makes us reconsider something we've always believed.

And perhaps that's what makes human connections so fascinating. We come from different backgrounds, carry different experiences, and see the same world through entirely different eyes. Yet, through a meaningful conversation, we can discover something beautiful in those differences.

For me, curiosity has never been merely about acquiring knowledge. It's also about remaining open-minded, listening without immediately judging, and understanding that no matter how much we learn, there will always be something we don't know.

A person who can speak with confidence is interesting. But someone who can listen with genuine curiosity, ask thoughtful questions, and admit they still have things to learn? That's a different kind of elegance altogether.

Because intelligence may impress us, but curiosity is what keeps a conversation alive.

And in a world where everyone seems eager to be heard, perhaps the rarest quality is still the willingness to truly listen.

Men are conditioned to think household work, chores and emotional labour are women’s jobs, especially after they get married or enter a serious relationship.

No matter how good of a man you think he is, or how much he was doing things independently when he was single,

Men think it’s the woman’s job to take care of them in the household.
