If you are a poet and you didn't even know it

Loving you was the most beautiful chapter of my life. I could never bear to see you unhappy, even if your happiness was never with me.
Countless dreams of love eventually led me to the quiet truth I could no longer escape.
My heart still embraces the shadow of your memory. It longs to walk beside you, yet destiny chose another path.
I am no longer the person I once was. Time has changed me. Life has reshaped me.
But my love... has remained the same.
Letting you go feels like the moon imprisoned by the endless night still shining, yet unable to reach the one it longs for.
So today, I surrender everything to Allah ﷻ.
Though my heart is bruised in shades of blue, I choose gratitude over resentment.
The pain remains... but strangely, so does my peace.
I accept every decree of love, believing that what Allah ﷻ has written is always kinder than what my heart desired. 🤍

I offered him a joke. He prescribed a consultation.
I told a doctor my heart hurt.
He asked where.
He asked when.
He asked me to point to the exact spot.
Before I could answer,
he had already begun taking my history.
I was hoping for a little laughter.
He was looking for a diagnosis.
Perhaps my mistake
was forgetting that some hearts
listen with poetry,
while others listen with a stethoscope.
He never got to discover
that my symptoms were sarcasm,
my prognosis was curiosity,
and my only condition
was a delicate sense of humor.
The consultation ended
before the patient could finish speaking.
Maybe that's the shortest almost-story
I'll ever tell.
A doctor
who never found
the real reason my heart was aching.
Not because it was broken...
but because he left
before getting to know it.
Inspired by a true story.

I've noticed something.
The more I learn, the less interested I become in sounding right.
Curiosity has given me more peace than certainty ever did. 🌿

Thank You
Before we learned gratitude, we learned the words.
"Say thank you."
We thought our parents were teaching us manners, never realizing they were teaching us how to see blessings.
A child says it because they are told. An adult says it because they have learned that nothing is truly small.
A borrowed pen. A door held open. A prayer whispered in your absence. A smile from a stranger. A hand that stayed when it could have walked away.
Gratitude has never measured the size of a gift. It has always revealed the heart that receives it.
Perhaps that is why the grateful soul notices what others overlook.
It finds abundance in little, hope in hardship, and mercy in moments the world calls ordinary.
Maybe appreciation was never meant to end with words.
Maybe it begins with noticing, grows through acknowledgment, and blossoms into a life that never forgets the One from whom every blessing comes.
So say, "Thank you."
Not because the gift was expensive, but because gratitude makes every gift meaningful.
And perhaps the most beautiful hearts are not the ones that have been given the most, but the ones that have learned to be grateful for what they already have.

"You Are Already Enough"
You don't have to prove
"your kindness", " your beauty" or "your worth" to anyone.
The right soul will find you
see you from a distance,
and admire the light within you
without asking you to shine any brighter.
Some hearts
will never understand your value,
and that's perfectly okay.
Because you were never meant
to be loved by everyone.
You are already enough,
"for the ones who are meant to find you."
@Sirrom
Build the kind of quiet
that makes chasing unnecessary.
For the root that holds deepest,
makes no sound growing. ☘️

And when you don't even get what you love, 🥀
Then it doesn't matter what else you get!
What difference does it make? 💔
After that, I stopped smiling.
When my heart broke, I stopped giving my heart away. 🥀
He is searching for someone better than me in this world, 🌍
The very person for whom I left the world behind.
The peace that I found in your arms 🫂

You are a puzzle I was never meant to solve
yet here I stand, tracing the edges
feeling the shapes that almost fit
but never quite do
You push, and I pull you
close enough to whisper
but distant enough for me not to hear you
You don’t want me
but you don’t let me go
It’s like you built a house for me
left the front door locked
but the curtains drawn just wide enough
for me to peek inside
A glimpse of warmth
of something real
but only if I play along
And I do
I hate it
I love it
This unraveling without direction
this game with no rules
this dance where neither of us knows the steps
but my mind is addicted to it
I want to know you
I don’t
I want to see your real beauty
I shouldn’t
Because we are from different worlds
divided by the weight of time
by a number that shouldn’t matter
but somehow does
So I trace the edges a little longer
follow the lines without needing the end
and if the world decides
this puzzle was never meant to be solved
then let the mystery remain

Will you marry me
@Tanko
Where to find Love
Do I have to be in the Masjid early?
Or Should I just go close to salat?
Should attend a matchmaking event?
Or Should I just attend a marriage event?
Should I make her know what I feel?
Or should I let her notice it herself?
Should I buy her roses for a start?
Or should I take her to the garden of roses?
Should I walk up to her and say my mind?
Or should I just wait for Muzz to sort me out?
