THE STORY OF
PROPHET YUNUS (AS)

• AND TURNING BACK TO ALLAH+
  The story of Prophet Yunus (AS) is one of the greatest lessons in repentance, patience, and hope in Allah's mercy.
  Never lose hope in Allah's mercy.
  Allah answers the supplication of those who call upon Him
  sincerely.
  THE STORY
  THE SUPPLICATION OF PROPHET YUNUS (AS)
  Allah sent Prophet Yunus (AS) to call his people to worship Allah alone. However, they rejected his message.
  Before Allah gave him permission to leave, Yunus (AS) departed from his people. He boarded a ship, and by Allah's decree, a great storm arose.
  To lighten the ship, lots were drawn, and Yunus (AS) was chosen. He was cast into the sea, where Allah caused a great fish to swallow him.
  In the darkness of the whale's belly, beneath the sea, and in the darkness of the night, Prophet Yunus (AS) sincerely turned back to Allah in repentance.
  Allah accepted his sincere repentance and rescued him from his distress.
  LESSONS FROM THE STORY+

Turn to Allah with sincere repentance.
Admit your mistakes and seek His forgiveness.
Patience and trust in Allah lead to relief.
Allah's mercy is greater than any mistake.
TRANSLITERATION
Là ilaha illa Anta, Subhānaka,
inni kuntu minaz-zälimin.
MEANING
"There is no deity except You; glory be to You. Indeed, I have been among the wrongdoers."
(Al-Qur'an 21:87)
ALLAH'S RESPONSE
MEANING
"So We responded to him and saved him from the distress. And thus do We save the believers."
(Al-Qur'an 21:88)
A REMINDER
No matter how great our difficulties or how many mistakes we have made, the door of repentance remains open.
Turn to Allah with sincerity, seek His forgiveness, and trust in His mercy.
Just as Allah saved Prophet Yunus (AS)
He is able to relieve every believer who turns to Him with a sincere heart.
May Allah forgive our sins, accept our repentance, and keep us steadfast upon
His guidance. Amin.
