Good morning, I can officially do two push ups. Don’t worry I’m not going to take over the fitness world but just know I’m a possible threat. 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↔️

Whaddup peeps. I've been working out for a long time. I set the bar high though. I used to train to Marine fitness standards.

Here's the set:

We already have the smarts. Up your game and lock in.

You see the thing with competitive behaviour in the gym.. One can only feel good when they're doing as well or better than others around them. Every workout is valid and it should be designed around you and your needs. If you're doing better than yesterday you're doing it right. Some days you might not be at your best progress isn't always linear, but as long as you're making overall progress you should be proud of yourself no matter what. Alhamdulillah.

What up yall? I've been doing intermittent fasting for over a year now. Started off with 10 hours and now I'm at 16 hours or so. I do it roughly twice a week to clear out toxins (both physically and mentally), reduce inflammation (I workout about 5 or 6 times a week), and maintain healthy weight.

There are numerous benefits to IF (16:8 model reports best benefits, but you can do however many hours best suited for you) including: insulin control, body fat reduction, clearer skin, and inflammation reduction too.

The 8-to-10-Hour Window ("The DigestiveReset"): This stops the damage of constant grazing. It gives your gut a break, resets baseline blood sugar, and prevents you from overeating late at night.

The 12-to-14-Hour Window ("The Fat-Burning Switch"): This is where the magic begins. Glycogen drops, insulin bottoms out, and your body officially switches over to using fat cells for fuel.

The 16-Hour Window ("The Cellular Deep Clean"): This is the gold standard for fighting inflammation. Autophagy kicks into high gear, clearing out cellular junk and leaving your body feeling less stiff and inflamed.
