“The right person won't make every day perfect, but they will make even the difficult days easier to face together.”

One correct assumption doesn't make every assumption true. Think critically, question your conclusions, and never confuse confidence with facts.

He trials you with loss, so you may learn that none but He will truly remain.
He trials you with betrayal, so you may learn that He alone is your ultimate refuge.
He trials you with stumbling, so you may learn that no hand can restore you but His.
Trials are not always born of vengeance, many are sent to gently guide, discipline, and realign your path. ❤️

Today, I met a social butterfly, @anti-fragile, and honestly, it was such a lovely experience ! I genuinely enjoyed it.... ❤️🥹
But here I am again, overthinking my social interactions and experiencing a complete social battery meltdown... 😭😂 It was my first-ever date, and there I was, standing in a queue, wondering, “What am I even doing here..?” 🥲
After lockdown, I seem to have become far more introverted than I ever realised... And as a niqabi, this was my first time stepping out for this kind of public exploration... Turns out, socialising is a whole different adventure when you've spent so long in your own little bubble....
Apparently, I'm less of a social butterfly and more of an indoor moth.... 😭😂
Now, all I want is to retreat into my little cocoon, switch off from the world, and enter hibernation mode until further notice.... 🫠🏡
I guess I have some socialising to practise and a little confidence to rebuild.... Until then, please excuse this indoor moth while she returns to her favourite habitat.... 🥲😂
And lastly, my apologies to @anti-fragile for not being the best date partner.... You were out there being a social butterfly, while I was an indoor moth questioning every life decision that led me ended up outside my comfort zone.... 😭😂❤️
Social battery: depleted.
Cocoon: calling.
Indoor moth: signing off. 🐛🏡

My head hurts and im tired. Spent the night crying.
This is how it feels like reading some posts. Once my tendons heal, im leaving the app and going back to the mat. That's where it's the easiest to breath.

Skye Horner, LMSW on Instagram: "For some ADHD, Autistic, or AuDHD brains, perceived injustice can feel almost impossible to let go of. The double standard. The rule that only applies to certain people. The person who gets away with something while someone else takes the blame. The conversation you keep replaying because you know something wasn’t right. You might find yourself advocating for someone who isn’t being treated fairly, struggling to move on when something feels morally wrong, or spending hours mentally revisiting a situation long after everyone else seems to have forgotten it. This is often described as justice sensitivity: a heightened awareness of, and emotional response to, perceived unfairness. It isn’t exclusive to ADHD, and not every ADHDer experiences it, but it can be a familiar part of the ADHD experience. And no, it doesn’t mean you’re dramatic, difficult, or looking for a fight. Sometimes, your brain has a really hard time filing something under “not okay, but outside of my control.” The goal isn’t to stop caring about fairness. It’s to learn how to care without sacrificing your own peace in the process. You can stand up for what’s right without having to personally resolve every injustice you encounter. reminders: IG does not replace therapy. my posts are meant to be fun and/or educational, they do not apply to everyone's individual situation. please use critical thinking & read my FAQs story highlight for more info #ADHD #ADHDAwareness #Neurodivergent #JusticeSensitivity #Asd"

Sometimes, we defend our ideas not because they are right, but because we have made them part of who we are. Learning to separate our identity from our opinions is a sign of growth. ✨

Here is your emotional intelligence guide:
I published my new article today: The Emotional Intelligence Guide. ✨
🙌 Emotional intelligence is not about the absence of emotions. It’s about understanding your emotional load, recognizing when you feel overwhelmed, and choosing how to respond rather than simply reacting.
Your emotions matter.
Understanding them changes how you handle life and work.

🛡️ Society often tells men to hide their struggles 🤐, while women are expected to silent their voice 🤐...
💡 Real maturity isn't about hiding how you feel—it's about listening and holding space for each other. 🤝❤️
Wishing genuine peace and clarity to everyone navigating these modern challenges today! ✨🤲
