I become the person I was trying so hard

There are days I just can't participate in life. Everything feels ordinary, even flat.

Sexual temptation and immorality can be incredibly difficult to resist. This is something I have struggled with personally.

I know that I could pursue intimacy with women without commitment or expectations, and sometimes the temptation of that short-term pleasure is very real. But having the opportunity to do something does not mean I should do it.

I am trying to discipline myself, control my desires, and stay away from adultery and sexual immorality. It isn’t always easy, especially when temptation is right in front of you. But temporary pleasure isn’t worth abandoning the path I believe God is calling me to walk.

Lord, give me the will, discipline, and strength to continue resisting temptation. Keep my heart and my actions pure, and help me become a man who chooses what is right even when doing wrong would be easier.

This has been one of my struggles, and I pray that I continue to overcome it.
