Then Salim comes along. He absolutely loves how the dress looks, buys it, and takes it home. But instead of reading the tag, he immediately throws it into a standard washing machine on the most aggressive spin cycle, right alongside his dirty gym socks.
When the cycle is over and the silk is wrinkled, distressed, and losing its shape, Salim gets angry. He throws his hands up and says, "This is way too high maintenance! My old polyster t-shirts never did this! Why can't this just be easy?"
