There is a huge difference between protecting your peace and disturbing someone else’s in the process.

Needing space is human. Communicating that need is maturity. But withdrawing affection, disappearing when conversations become uncomfortable, and leaving someone questioning where they stand can quietly create distance where understanding is needed most.

Love does not demand constant availability, but it does require consideration, consistency and the willingness to navigate discomfort together.

Because the strongest relationships are not those without difficult moments, but those where both people know that even in the silence, the connection is still safe. Peace should be something two people create together, not something one person finds while the other is left searching for reassurance providing peace for the other.

Is this an AI post? Why do I feel like I’m reading words which doesn’t evoke me?
