This year I found out I was cheated on by my ex‑wife. She was talking to another man and even married him while we were still together. Back then I was blinded by love and ignored all the warnings from my mum, sisters and family — but this lesson only made me much stronger and wiser.

I’m actually glad she never came to the UK, because if she had, she would have opened a case against me and made things far worse. Remember: if someone lies about one thing, they can lie about anything.

I had every right to put a case against her back home, but I chose not to. I’m too respectful to do that — I don’t want her ending up in prison there, because I know how women can be mistreated or abused by police officers in those places. I’d rather leave it to Allah’s justice. Alhamdulillah, Allah protects us in ways we don’t always see.

I’m growing stronger every day. I train in Jiu‑Jitsu, Judo, Wrestling, Boxing, Muay Thai, Olympic Weightlifting, Capoeira, Pilates and pliability work. Even though I live with a disability, I don’t let it hold me back — I keep pushing past every limit. My goal is to join the police force one day and serve my community the right way.

For my future: I still plan to get married — whether back home OR here in the UK — but this time I will be extra careful. Because honestly, sisters here in the UK can be just as bad, if not worse.

A lot of people have told me stories too — like brothers who married revert sisters and ended up being cheated on. To be honest, hearing those things does scare me. It makes you realise you can’t judge anyone just by their label or how they appear.

And Wallahi, if I get married and have children, I will treat my kid like my best friend. We’ll hang out every single day, make them laugh, and build a strong bond. When they get older, we’ll even spar together and train — teaching them discipline, confidence and respect.

To anyone who has been cheated on: I will pray for you, that Allah grants you an amazing husband or wife who will put a smile back on your beautiful face. Alhamdulillah, better days are always coming.

My advice to everyone — brothers, sisters and families:
If you plan to get married — back home OR in the UK — please check their background thoroughly. People and situations differ everywhere, so take your time, ask the right questions, and never rush. If you see red flags, don’t ignore them. Listen to those who care about you, and always choose dignity over revenge.
