Bibi Shareefa (also known as Sharifa or Sayyida Sharifa), the innocent daughter of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (A.S.) — raised with love and care by her uncle Imam Hussain (A.S.) after her father’s martyrdom — was among the noble women and children taken captive. She was only about 10 years old at the time, a pure soul who had already witnessed horrors no child should ever endure. 
After the tragedy of Ashura, the surviving family members of the Ahl al-Bayt were bound, humiliated, and forced onto camels without saddles or proper coverings. Their necks and hands were tied with ropes as they were paraded toward Kufa and then Damascus on the orders of Yazid. The journey was one of relentless torment — bare-backed camels, the blazing desert heat, the taunts of the enemy soldiers, and the constant grief over the martyrs left behind in Karbala. 
In this state of captivity and exhaustion, young Bibi Shareefa fell from her camel while passing through a hilly or elevated area (often associated with the region near Hilla, known as Rose Hill in some narrations). The fall proved fatal for the fragile, injured child. She attained martyrdom on that very spot, her pure soul ascending to join the ranks of the innocent martyrs of Karbala. She was buried there, in the same hill, where her shrine stands today in Hilla, Iraq — a place of solace, healing, and miracles for those who visit seeking intercession, especially for the sick and those with incurable ailments. She is revered as Tabib Ahl al-Bayt (the healer of the household of the Prophet). 
O Bibi Shareefa, daughter of Hasan, pearl of Karbala! Your short life was filled with patience beyond measure. Orphaned young, raised in the shadow of Hussain, you endured the thirst, the dust, the arrows of grief, and the cruelty of tyrants. Your fall from the camel was not an accident of fate but a testimony to the oppression that sought to break the light of the Ahl al-Bayt — yet it only illuminated your sacrifice. You became a hidden martyr whose resting place continues to grant shifa (healing) and barakah to the faithful.

Assalamu Alaykum, everyone

New to the app, new to the board.

I was born and raised Shia - so I was well aware of all the biases our community faced. I remember not disclosing that I was Shia, unless I knew the other person was too.

Fast-forward, and I’ve returned to the religion and I’m so proud of our faith. I have no doubts. I’m on the right path. 

My question is, despite the fact that Iran is showing to the world that it is the only country willing to fight against the Cabal of Satan, a.k.a. Israel, and the Epstein Class, do you see that most Muslims still hold onto their prejudice and ignorance about Shias?

Do you see people softening up and putting down some of their bigotry?
