Women often carry a powerful nurturing energy rooted in deep empathy, compassion, and an ability to love unconditionally. They see the good in people, believe in the power of love, and often have the patience to understand others even when they are hurting.

However, some men exploit this beautiful nature because they have not learned to connect with their own emotions, vulnerability, and sensitivity. Instead of developing these qualities within themselves, they seek them in women, using a woman’s love, patience, and understanding to fill the emotional voids they refuse to confront.

They may take her kindness for granted, mistake her compassion for weakness, and rely on her emotional strength without offering the same in return.

But a woman’s nurturing energy is not meant to be a tool for someone else’s healing at the expense of her own well-being. Her ability to love deeply does not mean she must tolerate disrespect, carry another person’s emotional burdens, or sacrifice herself to save someone who refuses to grow.

True love is not about one person endlessly giving while the other continually takes; it is about mutual understanding, emotional maturity, and the willingness of both people to grow together.

A woman can be compassionate and still have boundaries, loving and still walk away, nurturing and still choose herself. Her softness is her strength, but it should never become the reason someone feels entitled to break her.

The heart is classified into 3 types:

  1. The Healthy Heart - loves to serve Allah SWT and follow the Messenger of Allah SAW. If it loves, it loves for the sake of Allah; if it hates, it hates for the sake of Allah; if it gives, it gives for the sake of Allah; and if it withholds, it withholds for the sake of Allah.

  2. The Sick Heart - loves Allah Subna Wa Ta'ala but it also craves for lust and pleasure. It contains love of Allah Subna Wa Ta'ala, faith in Him, trust and reliance upon Him from those matters that are essential to its life. It also contains the love of its carnal desires, giving preference to them and eagerness to attain them. It contains jealousy, arrogance, self-amazement, and love of ranking and sowing corruption in the land through attaining leadership from those matters that lead to its destruction and devastation. It has two urges calling it, one leading it to life and the other leading it to death, and it follows whichever of the two that predominates.

  3. The Dead Heart - it contains no life. It does not know its Lord and does not worship Him. It is a slave to its carnal desires, temptations and pleasures, even if these lead to the Displeasures of its Lord and his Anger.

As long as it fulfills its cravings and attain its worldly desires, it does not care if its Lord is Pleased or Displeased. Therefore it worships other than Allah. If it loves, it loves for the sake of its base desires; if it hates, it hates for the sake of its base desires; if it gives, it gives for the sake of its base desires; if it withholds, it withholds for the sake of its base desires. Base desires are its leader, carnal desires are its commander, ignorance is its driving force, and negligence is the vessel (upon which it travels). It hears the call to Allah and the abode of the Hereafter from a distant place and does not respond to the sincere advisor. Base desires make it deaf and blind to anything other than falsehood.

𝐉𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐡 𝐌𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐤 🌙🤍

May this blessed Friday bring peace to your heart, light to your path, and barakah to every part of your life.

Take a moment today to slow down, remember Allah, make sincere du’a, and send abundant 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐭 𝐮𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭 𝐌𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 ﷺ.

May Allah fill our hearts with love for Him and His Messenger ﷺ, forgive our shortcomings, accept our prayers, and guide us towards what is pleasing to Him. Ameen
