When one person is struggling mentally or emotionally, what do you think their spouse’s role should be from an Islamic perspective?

It's choice - not chance - that determines your destiny.

Time doesn’t heal. The pain, the trauma, is still inside. But I believe that by praying and letting go of such an event, you may find peace. Everything that has happened was written, decreed, no fate can change that. But some situations make you blame those behind them when an unfolding situation reoccurs. Sometimes you feel like it’s happening at that very moment. Is it just me, or does anyone else have the same perspective?

Assalamu Alaikum.

I want to ask you something honestly, and I hope you will read this with an open heart.

Why did you come here? What are you really searching for?

If you are looking for a person who is loyal, serious, respectful and sincere, then there is something important we should all understand:

We should never demand from someone what we are not willing to give ourselves.

Everyone wants a loyal partner. Everyone wants someone who will respect them, care for them, understand them, and stay beside them when life becomes difficult.

But loyalty is not about having hundreds of choices and constantly wondering if someone better might come along.

Loyalty begins when you stop treating people like options.

If you choose someone, give them a genuine chance. Talk to them honestly. Learn their character, their heart, their values and their intentions. Don't judge their worth simply because someone else looks better, has more money, lives in another country, or seems more attractive.

Because a beautiful face can catch your attention, but a beautiful character is what gives you peace.

And when you find someone who is genuinely sincere with you, don't make them compete for a place in your life. If they give you their time, give them yours. If they respect you, respect them. If they trust you, protect their trust. If they remain loyal to you, don't keep looking over their shoulder for someone “better.”

Sometimes we lose good people because we were so busy searching for the perfect person that we failed to appreciate the sincere person Allah had already placed in our path.

The right person is not always the person who looks perfect. Sometimes the right person is the one whose heart is honest, whose intentions are pure, and whose presence brings peace to your life.

So before asking, “Where can I find a loyal person?” ask yourself:

“Can someone find loyalty in me?”

Because a real relationship isn't built by two people searching for perfection.

It is built by two people who say:

“I choose you sincerely. I will respect you, value you, and give this relationship an honest chance.”

May Allah give us all the wisdom to recognize a sincere heart when we find one—and the character to never break a heart that trusted us. Ameen. 🤲❤️

In a relationship, you can’t force communication, respect, or love. What you can do is value yourself enough to leave when the bare minimum becomes too much to ask for.

Not everything in the heart can be said, so God created sighs, tears, long sleep, cold smile, and shivering hands.

How will you solved this, you keep complaining about a particular thing and your partner always promise to change, but after few days or a week, he/she goes back doing the same thing.

I feel like this pattern will always co tinue even in Marriage or can that person later change.

Like you msg in the morning and got reply in the afternoon without tangible reason, even though you know the person was online.

You are on call and suddenly need to attend to something, asked for a few minutes and you will still be the one to call back after several hours.

Just stop responding to your text until after several hours.

Can you just say he/she is testing your patience.

Option 1 Walk Away

Option 2. Just accept it as his/her way.

Thanks

Peace
