Don't cherry-pick Islam to support what you want

You speak of the rights that Islam gave,
Of mahr, of honour, of what you may claim,
And rightly so - these rights are yours,
They were given by your creator, not earned by blame.

When we speak of Islam, let's speak of it whole,
Not only the good parts that appeal to your soul.

A right can be real, yet wisdom still asks
That we look at the balance behind every task.

Islam gave women the right to mahr,
A gift from the husband, established and fair.
If the mahr becomes excessively high,
Then suitable men simply cannot comply,
Is it unreasonable to ask
and reflect
Could the amount not itself have a negative effect?

Could asking for more than most men can afford
Make marriage harder
than it ever was before?

Could what you demand, however sincere,
Reduce the number of prospects who come near?

And this is the part we sometimes ignore -
We cannot take one ruling and ask for no more.
When Islam makes something permissible or right,
That doesn't erase the principles guiding one's life.

Don't you think the question should sometimes be this -
If you met an excellent Muslim
<CUSTOM_BOLD>A man you could cherish, respect and build a life with.
A man with good character, faith and respect.</CUSTOM_BOLD>

Would your number still be your first concern to protect?

If he was everything you genuinely sought,
Would the exact figure matter as much as you thought?
Would you compromise for the sake of a man
Whose character and faith fit the life that you and God planned?

Focusing on what one can financially gain
May equal the cost of two broken flames.

Sisters, take Islam as a complete way of life,
Not isolating rulings selectively when they suffice.

Don't take the rights while forgetting restraint,
Or claim the benefit while ignoring the weight.

The sunnah teaches ease, consideration and grace;
Marriage should not become an impossible race.
So yes, know your rights - and never deny them,
But know the responsibilities and wisdom beside them.

Don't cherry-pick Islam to support what you want.

You should be looking at the whole picture, not only one thought.
Our faith doesn't have a menu where we choose what feels right -
It's submission to our creator in darkness and light.

Ameen.

How long have I stayed by the river beside you, looking at you in a rainy sky?I pray that my prayer will be answered by meeting you

Who is she whose love told me I am captivated? Her scent is like a jasmine rose, to which birds descend fluttering, embracing her in the depths of dreams and the treachery of peers

Violet Colour Beef: Part 2

Dedicated to @CodeNCoffee

Roses are red
Violets are violet
Won’t admit when you’re wrong
You wish I’d be quiet

Won’t ask for direction
Hope you’re not a pilot
If I see something wrong
I can’t just stay silent

Don’t take it to heart
Don’t get angry or violent
A stubborn man can turn into a tyrant

If your eyesight’s that bad
Wear a patch like a pirate
And if you still think they’re blue…
Well, I just don’t buy it.

I am seeking for my equal-person
That happy to see me, happy in my present
Happy to hear my voice, laugh at my jokes
Enjoys reading my poetry in silence
Open their hearts and their souls
To connect with in different level into better circumstance
Having each other’s back like wall of Troy, no horses
Happiness and loyalty brings us together like penguins in the antarctica full of happiness & joy
Bringing the best out of each other & never looking back, only moving forward
Enjoying every sunrise and sunset together, appreciating each other without any distractions or remorse

Halal is slow. Haram is fast. Halal brings barakha and abundance. Haram brings despair and pain. You won't see it in the short term but you will definitely understand it is in long term.

Let it unfold
_ حين يكشف الزمن الحقيفة_

" Not everything meaningful arrives with an answer. Some things need the quiet of time, the space for truth to surface , and the grace to let life reveal what was always meant to remain ".
_ Unknown quote _

" ليس كل ما يحمل معنى يأتي ومعه جواب . بعض الأشياء تحتاج إلى هدوء الوقت، ومساحة تظهر فيها الحقيفة، ورقة تترك للحياة أن تكشف ما كان مقدرا له أن يبقى. "
_ مقولة مجهولة _

May Allah SWT purify our characters, protect us and take us back to Him in the best of health and eman ameen.

💙 الحمدلله
Astaghfiru'Allah 🤍 📿
