@uppacup
Do you think there’s still a chance for me to find a partner, even though I already have two kids? 😌🙂↔️
I think its so hard yaa
@MzZa
be proud of your achievements (no matter how small)
We may get knocked down but we get up again, and usually in a way we never imagined would of been possible.
Ive been reflective recently and in a humble way, im happy to say im proud of myself (dispute the stigma attached to being divorced and a single parent).
I am no longer the naive 20yr that got married, and im no longer the broken scared mess I was during my marriage and divorce. All the fears I had, have disappeared.
Yes, its taken a good couple of years, as ive had to learn to cope on my own and then had to take the time to discover who I am and who i want to be as a person going forward.
The last two years have been an incredibly change for me, ive pushed myself out of my comfort zone and doing things the old me never experienced or thought would be possible, especially as a single mother.
One of my biggest concerns as a single mother was how the divorce would affect my child. Alhumdillah, me deciding not to move area and live away from my own family to eliminate the upheaval to my child's education and well-being was the right one. We've both adapted and I couldn't be prouder of the recent exam results that they achieved.
What positive changes or challenges have you overcome, and proud of since your divorce?

I have one request for everyone here, from the bottom of my heart and for the sake of Allah: please don’t play with someone’s feelings. 💔
If you start talking to someone, please give them some time. Don’t judge them after a few messages or a few hours. Get to know their heart, their character, their struggles, their values, and their intentions.
You never know what someone is carrying inside. Some people come here after years of loneliness, heartbreak, disappointment, and pain. They may not be looking for hundreds of people. They may just be praying to Allah for one sincere person who will understand them and stay.
When you talk to one person today, another tomorrow, and keep many people in your inbox at the same time, remember that every person on the other side of that conversation has a heart. They can become attached. They can start hoping. They can pray for you. And when you suddenly walk away, you may leave behind a pain you will never even know about.
Please don’t make someone feel special if, in your heart, they are only one of many options. 💔
Give one sincere person your time. Talk to them. Understand them. Let trust grow slowly. If you find compatibility and sincerity, InshaAllah, involve your families and take the relationship toward marriage in a halal way.
And if it doesn’t work, then walk away respectfully. Don’t insult each other. Don’t destroy each other’s confidence. Don’t make someone regret opening their heart to you.
Because sometimes Allah sends us a good person, but we become so busy searching for someone “better” that we fail to recognize the blessing standing right in front of us.
And sometimes, when we finally realize that person’s value, they have already cried enough, healed enough, and moved on. Then no apology, no message, and no regret can bring back the heart that once waited for you. ❤️🩹
So please, think before you play with someone’s emotions.
People are not options. Hearts are not games. And sincere people are not easy to find.
If Allah brings a genuine person into your life, give them a chance. Give them your time. Give them respect. And most importantly, don’t lose someone sincere while searching for someone perfect.
Because one day you may realize that the person you let go of was not just another person…
They were the answer to a prayer you had been making for years. 🤲🏻💔

Maybe I’m not waiting for love. Maybe I’m waiting for the person who makes love feel safe again
