i’ve been thinking about how we’ve spent years being told to question everything and think critically, which is obviously important but sometimes it feels like it’s left us in a place where trusting anything feels almost impossible 😭 (spare me the obvious agenda discussions pls)
sooo does anyone have any book/podcast recommendations about finding that balance? something on how to be thoughtful and discerning without becoming cynical, especially now when it feels like every piece of information comes with ten reasons not to believe it. shukran!
📍Currently Reading: Light And Thread by Han Kang
I love that this books highlight the insights and Han Kang's thought process as a writer during her literary experience. Han Kang's signature in using her poetic language doesn't escape in this semi-autobiographical book as well.
My arabic teacher is knocked out after a short night before praying fajr and a long day of teaching Quraan. And I am studying the hw and realizing learning Arabic...its a journey that will be forever. Our foreign students who mastered english know this already. Alhamdulillaah. God knows best.
