Easy to find prayer room from JR Osaka station, head towards hankyu train station. The department store is just beside the gantry. Head to 8F, cafe. Between cafe and gallery is prayer room.

After descending from viewland, there's a few ways to cross the 3.6km Amanohashidate sandbar. You can rent a bicycle whole day for 600円, purchase a round trip boatride for 1300円 or do a hybrid of cycling there and boatride back for 1400円.

If you ride the boat you can feed prawn crackers to the seagulls. If you have time I recommend hybrid option as you can explore parks, temples, teahouse and Miyabi Ine boathouse.

I took round trip boat ride because short of time, and I stayed in boathouse before.

Most people who go Kyoto just visit the boring bamboo forest, or climb Fushimi Inari halfway and can't take a decent picture because it is too crowded.

A better way to spend your Kyoto day is to go Amanohashidate, a pine-covered sandbar that spans Miyazu Bay and is Japan’s top "3 Scenic Views"

Start at Amanohashidate Viewland, ride the chairlift up to Mount Monju's summit. then take the rail cycle car for an unobstructed view of the sandbar and Miyazu Bay. Theres also archery and go carts.
