I don’t want to go somewhere beautiful.

As you grow older, you travel for something deeper—
to collect sunsets instead of things,
memories instead of possessions,
quiet conversations instead of crowded rooms.

And maybe one day,
I’ll take a long road with no destination,
watch the world disappear in the rearview mirror,
and finally understand—

I wasn’t looking for a place to go.
I was looking for a place where I could forget
everything I had lost…
and, for a few miles,
forget that I was still carrying it with me.
