Shia Muslims

It is narrated from Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) said:

“Shall I guide you to a weapon that will protect you from your enemies and increase your sustenance?”

They replied, “Yes, indeed.”

He said:

“Call upon your Lord by night and by day, for supplication (Du‘a) is the weapon of the believers.”

روي عن الإمام الصّادق عليه السلام:
قالَ رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وآله:
ألَا أدُلُّكُم عَلى‏ سِلاحٍ يُنجِيكُم مِن عدوكم، وَيُدِرُّ أرزاقَكُم؟
قالوا: بَلى‏.
قالَ: تَدعُونَ رَبَّكُم بِاللَّيلِ و النَّهارِ، فَإنّ الدُّعاءُ سِلاحَ المؤمنين.

From the Morning Supplication of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her):

“In the name of Allah, upon the household of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).

In the name of Allah, upon myself and my religion.

In the name of Allah, upon my family and my wealth.

In the name of Allah, upon everything my Lord has granted me.

In the name of Allah, upon my loved ones, my children, and my relatives.

In the name of Allah, upon my believing neighbors, my brothers and sisters in faith, and every believing man and woman who has entrusted me with a supplication, shown me a favor, or initiated an act of kindness toward me.

In the name of Allah, upon all that my Lord has provided for me.

In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing on earth or in heaven can cause harm. And He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.”

"بِسْمِ اللَّهِ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتِ النَّبِيِّ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ عَلَى نَفْسِي وَ دِينِي بِسْمِ اللَّهِ عَلَى أَهْلِي وَ مَالِي بِسْمِ اللَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْ‏ءٍ أَعْطَانِي رَبِّي بِسْمِ اللَّهِ عَلَى أَحِبَّتِي وَ وُلْدِي وَ قَرَابَاتِي بِسْمِ اللَّهِ عَلَى جِيرَانِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ إِخْوَانِي وَ مَنْ قَلَّدَنِي دُعَاءً أَوْ اتَّخَذَ عِنْدِي يَداً أَوْ ابْتَدَأَ إِلَيَّ بِرّاً مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ عَلَى مَا رَزَقَنِي رَبِّي بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْئٌ‏ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَ لا فِي السَّماءِ وَ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ‏."

I’d like to know if there are any sisters in the UK who would consider entering into Zawaj Mut’ah. If this is something you’re interested in, feel free to contact me privately so we can discuss the mahr and mutually decide on a suitable duration. I don’t believe Mut’ah should be treated as something embarrassing or shameful, as I understand it to be permissible according to Allah and supported by the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله). In my view, religious matters deserve to be discussed with honesty, sincerity, and an open mind rather than being treated as a taboo subject.

Hazrat Ali (a.s)

It is narrated from Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him), in his advice to his son, Imam Hasan (peace be upon him):

"Know that the One in Whose hands are the treasures of the heavens and the earth has granted you permission to supplicate to Him and has guaranteed you a response. ... So let not the delay in His response cause you to despair, for the gift is granted according to the sincerity of one's intention."

روي عن الإمام علي بن أبي طالب عليه السلام:

"مِن وصيَّتِهِ لإبنِهِ الحسنِ عليه السلام:
اعلَمْ أنّ الذي بيَدِهِ خَزائنُ السَّماواتِ والأرضِ قد أذِنَ لكَ في الدُّعاءِ، وتَكَفَّلَ لكَ بالإجابَةِ ... فلا يُقَنِّطَنَّكَ إبطاءُ إجابَتِهِ؛ فإنَّ العَطيَّةَ على‏ قَدْرِ النِّيَّةِ."

Allah says:

فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ
“Whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it.”
— Surah Az-Zalzalah, 99:7.

In Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:261, Allah compares spending in His cause to a seed producing seven ears, each containing a hundred grains—a beautiful reminder of how He multiplies the reward of giving.

A narration attributed to Imam Ja‘far al-Sadiq (a.s.) teaches that charity, good practices taught to others, and children praying for forgiveness can benefit a person after death.
