“You will not be a true believer until you regard hardship as a blessing and prosperity as a trial, for the hardships of this world are blessings in the Hereafter, while the prosperity of this world is a trial in the Hereafter.”

From a supplication of Imam Al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him):

“O Allah, make the last part of my life the best of it, the conclusions of my deeds the best of them, and the best of my days the Day I meet You.

My Lord, I have obeyed You in that which is most beloved to You faith in You and belief in Your Messenger and for this, all gratitude and favor belong to You.

And I have not disobeyed You in that which is most hateful to You associating partners with You and denying Your Messenger.

So forgive me for whatever lies between these two, O Most Merciful of the merciful.”

من دعاء الامام الحسن بن علي بن أبي طالب عليه السلام:

"اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ خَيْرَ عُمُرِي آخِرَهُ وَ خَيْرَ عَمَلِي خَوَاتِمَهُ وَ خَيْرَ أَيَّامِي يَوْمَ أَلْقَاكَ إِلَهِي أَطَعْتُكَ وَ لَكَ الْمِنَّةُ عَلَيَّ فِي أَحَبِّ الْأَشْيَاءِ إِلَيْكَ الْإِيمَانِ بِكَ وَ التَّصْدِيقِ بِرَسُولِكَ وَ لَمْ أَعْصِكَ فِي أَبْغَضِ الْأَشْيَاءِ إِلَيْكَ الشِّرْكِ بِكَ وَ التَّكْذِيبِ بِرَسُولِكَ فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَا بَيْنَهُمَا يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ."
