A meaningful connection, something that everyone craves and wants, and yet recently I have observed that it terrifies most people.

Is it because there is a fear of failing to form one or is it the fear of actually achieving it and being afraid of what comes next?

Sometimes people ask "Why don't you want to marry someone from overseas?"
It's not because I don't believe in love.
It's because marriage isn't just about loving someone. It's about starting a whole new life.

Moving to another country means leaving behind everything familiar. New culture. New weather. New people. No family or friends nearby. It could take years just to adapt.
Then comes the biggest worry... finding a job. What if I can't work? What if I have to depend on my husband financially? What if things don't go as planned?

Before saying "love conquers all," think about the reality after the wedding.
Love is important, but so are stability, independence, and having a secure future.

Sometimes, choosing someone closer to home isn't about limiting love, it's about protecting the life you've worked so hard to build.
