From human behaviour to neurodiverse perspectives, explore how we think, feel, and experience the world 🧠
@imfarhankhan
Are you closer to Allah than you were a year ago?
Based on psychology, why men follow a lot of girls on instagram? And liking their pictures too. Their small profile with heart, floating on my explore page. I'm way too observant to unnotice this🥱😂🫣😅😮💨

Do you guys think it’s kinda cute when you have your first argument with someone you really like?
Or is it just me... 🤭
For me it meant we’re getting to know each other better. I see it as growth not as a threat.

In a world where everyone is chasing the next supplement, peptide, protocol, or product that promises better health and longer life, it is easy to forget that some of the most powerful determinants of longevity come from within us.
The research on optimism makes that impossible to ignore. Across multiple large cohort studies, people with higher optimism live longer, age more gracefully, and experience significantly lower rates of cardiovascular disease.
Some studies show a 45 percent lower risk of all-cause mortality in highly optimistic individuals, with cardiovascular protection approaching 77 percent.
What stands out is not just the numbers. It is what they represent. These outcomes are not the result of a pill or a protocol. They reflect the physiological ripple effects of how we relate to stress, setbacks, uncertainty, and possibility. Optimism supports healthier stress responses, steadier coping, and a mindset that keeps us moving toward what matters, even when life is heavy.
Over years, that orientation becomes biology.
This does not mean optimism is easy, or that people should bypass their pain. It does not mean pretending everything is fine. It means cultivating an internal environment that supports resilience, meaning, and growth. It means dismantling the beliefs and patterns that keep us locked in fear or scarcity. It means turning inward instead of searching outward for things to fix us
The science around optimism is really pointing us back to an ancient truth. Longevity is not something you can buy. It is something you practice. It emerges from the daily work of tending to your mind, your beliefs, your purpose, and the way you meet your own life.
What helps you stay anchored in possibility instead of fear?

This quote really made me pause:
“We don’t marry people and their families. We marry their childhood.”
I wouldn’t say it’s entirely true, but I do believe our childhood profoundly influences how we love, communicate, and navigate conflict.
That said, I think our choices as adults matter even more. Our past may shape us, but it doesn’t have to define us.
What’s your take? Do you think childhood has the greater influence, or do our choices as adults ultimately matter more?

Hi hello
@SA89
Anyone else looking into a partner that has ADHD? Anyone else finding it difficult like at beginning things looked promising and now his adhdness such as snapping, turning everything to argument, not prioritising a halal get to know periodness and all the horrible traits which he says he is working on is creeping up. It is draining to be on the receiving end and I am trying to be patient and understanding and not reject him based on that as know that people with adhd take those badly and well maybe that's why he is just acting out now to protect himself. Anyway thoughts…
@haymish
Good morning ! 😀
How much of the way you were loved as a child shapes the way you love as an adult ?
Do you love from a place of security… or are you still chasing the love you once needed ?

I am rich, I am fit,
Money always easy come to me
My life feels so much easier
My life’s getting better & better
I am happy, I am worthy
Love is always easy come to me
Happiness is my reality
Healthy long life always be the part of me

Okay, so can someone who studies psychology explain this? Every time there's nobody at home, I immediately feel like being productive. And when I say immediately, I mean IMMEDIATELY. The second I realize I'm alone, I feel so at ease and suddenly start doing all the things I've been procrastinating—and even more. 😭
