start choosing yourself again. wear what makes you feel confident, take care of your appearance, invest in your health, chase your dreams, create a life you love and enjoy becoming the person you’re meant to be.

Do you feel the last 6 years were a haze?

What helped you get through loneliness?

Most conflicts don't fall apart because of the actual issue they fall apart because of how it's communicated.
The right words, said with self-awareness, respect, and at the right time, can turn an argument into a real conversation instead of a battle.
So maybe the real question isn't whether the disagreement is the problem... Maybe it's how we choose to bring it up

“At least he never hit me”
Now science is proving that the verbal, and emotional abuse causes more damage than physical abuse
As a survivor, I will attest to the truth of that
The physical bruises are gone
I’m still healing from the mental ones

Lindsay Stoker on Instagram: "We tell abused women “at least he never hit you” and teach her that until there’s a mark, it doesn’t count. So she waits for a bruise to call it abuse. It never comes. The injury was already there. A Harvard psychiatrist, Martin Teicher, scanned young adults who’d been verbally abused (only words, no violence) and found their brains physically changed, in the regions that hold memory, run fear, and process language itself. His take: verbal abuse may do more harm than other kinds, because language is how we build our sense of who we are. These are two different but parallel injuries and your brain doesn’t know the difference between the threat behind a fist and the one behind his voice. The bruise was never the sole injury. It was just the part we agreed to count. #thecontrolcode #coercivecontrol #narcissisticabuse #domesticviolenceawareness #traumarecovery"

parenting autisMN on Instagram: "Don’t start with the rules. Start with their relationship with Allah. When our children know who Allah is- His mercy, His love, His kindness- itchanges how they experience their faith. My children are verbal, so this is the approach that has worked in our home. But if your child is non-speaking or has significant communication needs, please remember this: 🤍 Allah knows them better than anyone. 🤍 He knows their abilities, their intentions and every challenge they face. 🤍 They are not judged in the same way as someone who has full understanding and capacity. #autism #islam"
