Allah allows hardship to strengthen you, purify you, and draw you nearer to Him. It is never more than you can carry, and ease always follows. Every trial holds a blessing you may not yet see — trust His plan. 💫

Nobody is purely good or purely bad

The drama Dar-e-Nijaat raises a question worth discussing...
Do we really hold men and women to the same standards ?

Why is a woman’s past judged so harshly, while a man may be forgiven for the same choices ?
If a standard matters, shouldn’t it apply to both equally ?

If we demand purity and accountability from women, shouldn’t we demand exactly the same from men ?

Please note that this is an adult themed discussion, so comment or share your thoughts and experiences accordingly.

Kun faya kun. May you get to marry someone who'll genuinely care for you, check on you if your mood is down, will make you laugh, will crack silly jokes to freshen up your mood. 💍💗

Being on your own is not a phase you need to rush through or a problem that another person needs to solve.

There is a special kind of peace in knowing you did not accept an uncertain connection just to say you had someone. You are allowed to wait for a love that feels honest, calm, mutual and secure. Someone whose actions match their words, who communicates clearly, respects your boundaries, values your heart and never leaves you questioning where you stand. Until that kind of connection finds you keep enjoying your own life.

The right person will not require you to abandon your standards, shrink your needs or become less of yourself just to keep them. Your own company will always be better than staying beside someone who makes you feel lonely, uncertain or only partly chosen. Love should add warmth to your life, not make you question whether you are worthy of receiving it.
Never trade the fullness of who you are for the comfort of simply having someone
beside you.♥️

Part of growing up is realising
Some people will misunderstand you simply because they only know how to see life from their own perspective

A person can laugh with everyone and still be fighting silent battles inside. Be gentle, because you never know what someone is carrying.

There is a new psychotherapy or neuroscience that talks about attachment styles. It helps to spot those who are present and consistent in their interactions vs avoidant or flakey or breadcrumbing.
I strongly suggest reading up on it for self improvement as well as to identify time wasters, and those who have not yet learned to process their emotional baggage.

Trigger warning!

You can easily assess someone’s maturity just by reading how they respond. One of the biggest misconceptions people have is that if you choose to talk about something, you must automatically be against it.

If you point out or address an issue involving women, suddenly you hate women. If you call out something involving men, you must hate men. The same applies to everything: religion, cultural practices, social norms, traditions, you name it.

The moment you address an uncomfortable issue, people are so quick to turn it into you’re taking sides that sometimes you start to think wisdom has been chasing these people for a long time, but due to their speed, they’ve always been faster.

Nobody is always right, and nobody is always wrong. Women have issues. Men have issues. Our religious views can be heavily influenced by culture, habits, upbringing, and psychology. And our collective psychology can be so fooked up in ways that contribute to some of the worst mental health outcomes. But nah, let’s act mature while sound stupid and then wonder why you can’t find a partner.

It should be completely okay to talk about these things without turning every conversation into a team sport.

A post addressing an issue within the women’s community does not mean the person hates women. Calling out men does not mean you hate men. Criticizing a cultural practice does not mean you hate the culture. Just because you attached to certain group, religion belief or gender it doesn’t mean you have to sweep everything under the rug. Sometimes you’re simply pointing out a problem because you actually care enough to talk about it.

Nuance shouldn’t be this controversial.
