Omo, make I yarn you guys wetin happen to me last week.
Another talking stage just kpaied quietly. No long story, no serious fight just the usual slow fade. The moment the babe find out say I no dey work for one major office for Maitama or Lagos Island, carry laptop go air conditioned desk every morning, and answer to white collar ogas, the vibe just die.

She no even insult me sef. She just gave me that classic "You're a great guy, but I need someone more established for where I'm going" speech.

It pain me small, not because I am forming victim, but because of the irony. Me? Lazy? Far from it. I dey hustle from morning till night, managing my own thing, figuring out logistics, sorting out capital, and sweating through this Naija economy to make sure things move. I know say I dey work hard. But for this modern Nigerian dating market, e be like say if your hustle no get weight or if e no come with corporate title and a flashy office address.

I no even completely blame them too much. Things hard, and everybody just want security. Nobody wan suffer. But social media and aesthetics don scatter people's eyes sef. Everybody think say true provider must be somebody wey dey wear suit and tie go corporate job. They forget say independent business and real groundwork na where the main stability dey.

I no too go school, but omoh, I fit make sure say I sweat make you no lack basic chill of life. At the end of the day, office building with AC no be character. A man can be clocking in somewhere and still be financially useless, just like a man can be running his own independent hustle and be building something solid from the ground up.

Anyways, e sure me say I go jam love for front. E be like say for this Naija street, if your office no get signpost, you no dey try abi? Maybe na me just dey reason am?
