A sacred journey of faith and devotion 🕋 Share reflections, duas, and experiences from Hajj and Umrah and support each other along the way.
Everything will work out in the end. You don't need to know how. You just have to trust that it will.💖☝️💫
To those I may have wronged,
I ask forgiveness.
To those I may have helped,
I wish I did more.
To those I neglected to help,
I ask for understanding.
To those who helped me, I sincerely thank you so much 🥺❤️🤲
Some prayers are whispered quietly on the Day of Arafah… and trusted completely to Allah. May Allah accept and grant all of our heartfelt prayers soon amin ya rabb🤲✨️
Alhamdulillah My family have performed Umrah in 2023. And this year, my two younger sisters and I are planning to go on Umrah as a threesome. And my mom wants to register for Hajj. After knowing that, my father suddenly stated that our Umrah at that time was not a real Umrah but just a mere recreation. He said, it is useless to perform Umrah or Hajj if your behavior is still not completely good.He seemed to want to reduce our enthusiasm to return to Umrah or perform Hajj. At one point, he said, "Why do you have to go all the way to Mecca and Medina to worship? You can do it at home."
I understand my father's good intentions. That we should perform the Umrah and Hajj pilgrimages with thorough knowledge and preparation, with a firm sincerity of heart. But my father's choice of words at that time was completely inappropriate. We had an argument. Finally, I said to my father: "You can say that in this family. But I hope you never talk about religion that way with anyone else."
Because not everyone understands and can accept it well, especially regarding its essence and philosophy.
And honestly, what made me angry was seeing my mother's reaction, so sad and disappointed by my father's words. My mother wanted to go on the Hajj with my father. But instead, she said something like that.
What I'm asking is: is it true that a person's worship will not be accepted by Allah just because their knowledge of Islam is not yet good enough? Is Allah that narrow-minded?Isn't Allah''s mercy truly vast?
🤲 DUA FOR PALESTINE 🇵🇸
Ya Allah, on this blessed Day of Arafah, we pray for Palestine and all our brothers and sisters suffering there.
Ya Allah, protect the living, heal the wounded, comfort the grieving families, and grant strength and patience to those enduring hardship.
Ya Allah, have mercy upon those who have returned to You. Forgive their sins, accept them among the martyrs, widen their graves with light, and grant them the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus.
Ya Allah, ease the suffering of the oppressed and bring peace, justice, and safety to Palestine.
🤲 إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji‘un
“Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return.”
📖 “And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.”
— Surah Aal-Imran 3:169
May Allah ﷻ protect فلسطين and grant mercy to those who have passed away. Ameen 🤍
