But Ya Allah, I feel lost like Ibrahim عليه السلام.
I am wounded like Ayyub عليه السلام.
I am alone like Musa عليه السلام.
I am grieving like Yaqub عليه السلام.
I am betrayed like Yunus عليه السلام.
I am in darkness like Yunus عليه السلام.
And just like them, I want You.
Ya Allah, choose me as You chose Musa عليه السلام.
I know my deeds will not take me to their rank.
So I beg by Your mercy, not my deeds.
Choose me, purify me, love me, use me for Your sake.
And make me among those who are blessed to see Your beauty in Jannah. Do not let me leave this world until You are pleased with me.
Let me taste what they tasted, the sweetness of being close to You.
Ameen.

Hello
@mostafa862745
Because people hurt u by leaving so many times,u built a strong wall around your heart to protect yourself.
You only let people stay on the edges of your life, all while acting strong and calm on the outside.
From the outside,it looks like u won and nothing can hurt you anymore. But the sad truth is that you are just entirely alone, trapped in a cold place with no feelings.
You thought you were being smart by hiding your feelings and never showing ur vulnerable side. But you realize too late that you made a huge mistake: you managed to survive the pain, but u lost ur soul in the process.

I was destroyed by the same person who showed me what real love feels like..

Being diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 40.
I saw a funny meme recently about this but having struggled with mental health for half of my life and all the traumas it finally clicked with me that I have always carried it even though people may perceive me as well functioning. I have a well paid job, I work out (and feel rested only after exhaustion) but there has always been something wrong with my short term memory and many other things. I started feeling like my life has been slipping through my fingers and my psychologist suggested I should get tested for adhd and here it is. I don't know if this is good. I mean there is medication and all but at least I have an explanation for my neurodevelopment from my early age until now and don't feel like a failure but someone with a condition which made life harder than it should be, I gues? All I can say is that this condition is very, very exhausting. You feel restless but exhausted all the time internally. So you can only rest when you are exhausted and when you just try to rest you feel restless (hyperactivity switches on).
So maybe if you feel similarly and you have noticed this pattern since childhood maybe you should try and reach out for help or maybe you'd want to share your story. I just wanted to share it with someone anonymously :).
