💕The only way to achieve change is to change.
It sounds obvious, but as a therapist, I've seen how many people wait for motivation before they take action.

💕They wait to feel confident before speaking up. They wait to feel less anxious before trying.

💕 They wait to feel ready before making a decision.
But change rarely starts with a feeling.

💕It starts with a choice.
A new life is often built through small, uncomfortable actions repeated consistently over time.

💕 The person who becomes stronger isn't the one who never feels fear,.it's the one who takes a step forward despite it.

💕If you want different results, something has to be different:
A new habit.
A new boundary.
A new perspective.
A new action.

💕Growth doesn't happen when life stays the same.
The only way to achieve change is to change.
What's one small change you can make today?

Sometimes I think like this: I'm already 36 years old. What difference does it really make if I get married from now on or if I never marry? After all, none of us knows how long we will live in this world.

Marriage is part of this worldly life, and having children is also a worldly blessing. They are beautiful things, of course, but I don't think they should become the main purpose of our lives. Instead of becoming too attached to this world, I believe what truly matters is growing closer to Allah and living with the Hereafter in mind.

Salaam to all around the globe. 🌎
So it is true that only peace in life is what a person wants, yet creates every form of disturbance to achieve it.

Weekends are sad days. It means I am not busy and my mind takes me back to the memory lane.
How are you doing as an adult after being brought up in a dysfunctional family ?
While growing up as a kid and till I reached my late 20s , I didn't realise that my parents specially my mother is a deeply traumatised person because of her bad marriage. The care they showed to me were always conditioned, I was treated as my mum's therapist, her way of bonding with me was through dumping her trauma. Till today she would say that she stayed in her unstable marriage so that I wasn't labed as a daughter of a broken family( funny enough I'm broken because I saw what happened to them).
My parents didn't have a good relationship and needless to say their mutual disrespect had a huge impact on my way of seeing marriage. I feel awful to say that I do not want to be like my mother, neither do I want a partner like my father. It's already hard to find a partner and it's harder when I come with a wounded mind.
I know you'll tell me to get therapy. Well well my friends , I am doing that. Despite it is hard. It's so hard that when I'm sat out with my thoughts, I end up weeping my eyes out.
