The longing for you has turned me into a mental patient.

You know, the day your words used to make my soul come alive...
today those same words don't affect me anymore, except to make me laugh.
And in that laughter, there are screams you’ll never be able to imagine.

This mental state of mine is taking me closer to death with each passing day.
But the truth is, even death isn't going to come to me easily.

Your longing has taken over my existence like a curse.
And maybe this curse will prove effective in laying me to rest in the lap of death.

Aaaahhh...
A torment falls over the courtyard of your longing.
And every single thing in that courtyard is playing a major role in making me a mental patient.

Note: this is about a friend of mine and her acquaintance

Found you pouring your heart out to a stranger,
Years later the stranger poured her heart out to you.

You saw her soaring high in career, led her to the sky.... Being a knight in shining armor.. But you poisoned her mind into turning against you and her beliefs.

Now how does it feel standing so far and watching her fall from the sky you led her. Now she isn't the star you saw her as. ..Unable to see the sky ever again.

How does it feel to have hatred and secrets mixed in a fickle mind. Yet thinking that you are a saint.

Even I tried hard to forget her, but I can't. 😔😔

The Love I Never Asked You For

I never asked you to love me,
I only wished you’d understand,
why your name still feels like home
to a heart you never held in your hands.

I saw you smile, and smiled too,
though my own heart was breaking apart.
You were the person I wanted most,
and the one I could never call mine from the start.

I wrote your name in every prayer,
then learned to leave the answer to God.
Some dreams are beautiful to carry,
even when they were never meant to be yours.

I wanted to stand beside you,
but I respected the distance you chose.
Because love is not a chain that holds someone,
it is a feeling that wishes them peace when they go.

And if you ever ask what happened,
why I became so quiet one day,
I’ll say, “I loved you more than I could explain,
and learned to let you live your way.”

You may never know how much I loved you,
and perhaps that is the saddest part.
You were never mine to lose,
yet losing you still broke my heart.

Sometimes you need to say goodbye.😔
Even if you don't want to.😥

If Love Means Letting Go

I loved you without asking you to stay,
I never wished to stand in someone else’s way.

I admired you from a distance, quietly and true,
And kept my deepest feelings away from you.

I wished to see you closer, just for a while,
But when you came near, I forgot how to smile.

I never wanted to make you feel obliged,
Or turn my love into something you had to hide.

You were a beautiful thought I carried every day,
A quiet little prayer I never dared to say.

And if your happiness means I must step aside,
I’ll do it with respect, though it hurts inside.

Because loving you was never about making you mine,
It was about wishing you peace, even when you weren’t mine.

When someone dies, we find patience. But why not when someone leaves..!!

When someone dies, patience comes because at that moment a person realizes the reality of life.
It makes you understand the value of every breath, every joy and sorrow, every relationship.
At that moment of death, the heart finds solace that what will remain is only Allah’s will, and sabr is the name of that guidance which strengthens faith..

But when a person leaves you, patience turns into pain.
Leaving is not just betrayal, it feels like disrespect and even shirk.
It hollows out a person’s heart and makes the blessing of patience fade..

That’s why the patience that comes after death increases the strength of faith.
Whereas being left behind turns patience into suffering, into agony, and shakes the soul to its core.

Patience is no less than a difficult test..!!
On one side is the test of life,
On the other is the trial of betrayal...
We should pray that ALLAH keeps our patience firm.
Whether it comes in the form of someone’s death, or in the form of someone leaving.
