Rendering

I step through the time whirl
Stagnating in the 3D
20 frames per second
Is all that I can see

The aftershock effect
Like atomic waves
Crash around me
Sway me away

There’s a signal lag
Sorry what did you say
I’m rendering through Past currents,
can’t hear you, prey

Echo chambers in my head
Aftermath of the blast
Can’t tell which is the present
Which voice is the past

I’m lost in the void
It’s quiet and dark
In between two places
Is this what I think it is?
The end of a spark?

The Only Certainty: Death

Again today, I was gently reminded,
How fragile this life truly is.
A beautiful world we call our home,
Yet nothing here is forever ours.

The only promise every soul shall taste,
Beyond wealth, status, youth, or fame,
Is death.

No mountain can hide us,
No ocean can carry us away.
No power can delay it,
No prayer can erase it.

The only question is not if,
But how.

Will we leave in youth or old age?
In health or in sickness?
In peace or in pain?
With faith... or without it?

Its hour is hidden.
Its path unknown.
Yet its arrival is certain.

So while breath still fills our lungs,
Let us prepare.

Smile a little more.
Love a little deeper.
Forgive a little sooner.
Pray with greater sincerity.
Live with a grateful heart.

Fight less.
Eat less.
Worry less.
Envy less.
Compare less.

And with each passing day,
Become a little less attached
To a world we were never meant
To keep forever.

For life is only a journey,
And death is not the end...

It is the doorway
To eternity.

And here I am with two hands and a nose with no man to hold me😔

My mind be like:

but promises are light.
Watch how they treat others,
how they carry disappointment,
how they speak when they're not trying to impress.
Time reveals
what charm tries to hide.
Believe it only when their ACTIONS agree

They say fiction isn't real, but how do I explain to them that I've felt more alive in imaginary worlds than I ever did in reality

Walk gently in the lives of others not all wounds are visible

Reality is too heavy for people, so they rent illusions and call it happiness.
