We want to find a good spouse but we are still not waking up for Fajr
Wake up for fajr prayer everyday , there are many men and women praying before we had woken up.
If you see the same girl/man everyday on that prayer then its the right person. i think that’s more important than anything else.
Any girlies going to the Muzz event this weekend and wanna meet up beforehand so we can go together?
Hi there,
I’m 27 and lately I have been feeling down about not having a partner yet. I know in our desi community this becomes a flaw for girls as time goes on but I wanted to know from the ladies of Muzz (or anyone who wants to chime in) - does it get better emotionally? How did you guys navigate this?
My career is great, make 6 figures and on promotion track, improving self esteem, going to therapy, self love and improving my deen - but sometimes I worry about making impulsive decision just to fix this problem (meaning marrying just anyone just to get married). Parents also doesn’t make it easy as everyone else is getting married….
I don’t think I’m looking for anything unrealistic - just someone with similar values, equally ambitious and to grow together as humans.
For those who’ve been through this stage, how did you navigate the wait without losing hope and to setting out of fear?

A couple of years ago, before I became Muslim, I was pretty involved in the nightclub scene. One night I was at Havana in Atlanta and saw two or three Muslim women wearing hijab inside the club. At the time I remember thinking it was interesting, but now that I’m Muslim myself, I look back at it completely differently. 😅
From an Islamic perspective, wouldn’t going to a nightclub where there’s alcohol, dancing, etc. generally be considered haram? I’m genuinely curious how other Muslims view this.

There’s something oddly peaceful about realizing that not everything you could have… is something you should want.
Some lessons arrive looking like opportunities. 🙂

✨ WHAT TO EXPECT: MUZZ’S ISNA WEEKEND SINGLES EVENT ✨
We’ve gotten a few questions about how the night will work, so here’s the rundown 👀
When you arrive, our team will check you in, scan your ticket, and give you a name tag + one of our signature icebreakers to help get the conversations started.
From there, it’s totally up to you. 🩷
You’ll walk into a room full of Muslim singles who came with the same intention- to meet someone. We’ll have local vendors set up throughout the space with food, drinks & desserts that you can grab at your own pace while you mingle.
There are no scheduled talks, awkward rotations, or assigned conversations. Come when you want, grab a bite, meet someone, circle back to the dessert table, meet someone else 😂 you’re free to move around and enjoy the night however you want. And because there’s no set schedule, you can arrive or leave at your own pace without worrying about missing anything.
And YES, the icebreaker is worth doing! 👀 Complete it and you’ll get a little reward from us. They’re designed to give you an easy excuse to approach someone new, and they’ve been a favorite at our past events.
And while we have you… quick ticket update 👀
Men’s tickets are officially SOLD OUT! We’re committed to keeping the event as balanced as possible, so additional men’s tickets will only be released as more women sign up.
Ladies, grab your spots, and guys who missed out, keep an eye out. More tickets may be coming 👀🎟️
