I believe that there is multiple ways to fill a cup of water...

The cup of your soul...

The water is Allah.

Wether it's filled through a garden hose or through another cup, or a kitchen sink...

Is the cup still not being filled?

It's not my place to challenge you. Nor to judge you.

However, I think that you should try to understand the core message of my example.

Your cup has been filled by other cups... How do you know that the other cups had pure intentions? Are you scared to question the other cups?

Where my cup has been filled by my thirst for God. From me being without water and searching for water.

As I search I save ever precious drop. Whether is from what someone else's cup or from the rain of life, or from being stuck in the desert and having to squeeze the cactus for drops of water.

It's easy to fear God when generation after generation you have been told the same thing... It's easier to love God when you actually search for him on your own accord.

When you search for Him on your own accord you will truly understand God, you will Truly love him, You will truly see His nature, hHs blessings and His beauty.

Somlis, Arabs Sudanese, Nigerians , Indians, Indonesians, all are suni.... However they refuse to acknowledge that they've allowed culture and customs affect their deen...

I'm asking you to read what I've said with an open heart. And ask yourself what have I said that's Haram?...

Nothing...

So if you feel uncomfortable with my words... That is the cultural contamination I'm speaking of... And the cultural fear of only having your cup filled by the same culture over and over again.

WHEN WE DIE….

The clothes we wore will be left behind.

The phone we couldn’t put down will be left behind.

The money we spent our lives chasing will be left behind.

The people we loved will walk away from our grave.

And then… we will be alone with our deeds.

Allah سبحانه وتعالى says:

“Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your full reward on the Day of Resurrection.”

— Qur’an 3:185

Something I find really interesting as a Native American with Mexican-American ancestry is the question of whether Allah sent messengers to the Indigenous peoples of the Americas.

The Qur’an says, “We surely sent a messenger to every community” (16:36), and it also tells us that there were messengers whose stories were never related to us (40:78).

When you think about it, Indigenous peoples lived throughout the Americas—from what is now Canada and the United States through Mexico, Central America, and South America—for thousands upon thousands of years. There were millions of people belonging to hundreds of different nations, cultures, and communities.

So from an Islamic perspective, I think it’s entirely plausible that messengers were sent to peoples somewhere in the Americas whose names and stories have simply been lost to history. Their languages obviously would have been completely different, so they wouldn’t necessarily have used the Arabic word “Allah.” What matters is whether they recognized and worshipped the one Creator.

There are Indigenous traditions that contain concepts of a supreme Creator, although the traditions of the Americas were extremely diverse and we can’t identify any particular Indigenous figure as a prophet without evidence.

Still, I find the possibility fascinating. If Allah truly sent guidance to every nation, there is no reason to assume that the Indigenous peoples of the Americas—millions of human beings separated into countless communities over thousands of years—were somehow excluded from that guidance.

Allah knows best.

Have you ever noticed, no matter what you post people always have something to say? It’s like freedom of speech on social media doesn’t exist. People always need to give their two cents.
