Salam. Sometimes I wonder if I’ll ever find the right person. It hurts when people see that I’m Deaf before they take the time to see who I truly am. I may communicate differently, but my heart loves just as deeply. I’m not looking for someone perfect. I just want someone who will understand me, accept me, and choose me for who I am. I hope one day I’ll find someone who sees beyond my cochlear implant, beyond my silence, and into my heart!
