Book 2: How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie

A man can have good intentions and still hurt people with poor communication.

This book teaches respect, listening, emotional intelligence, and the art of making people feel valued without being fake.

Before marriage, a man should learn how to disagree without insulting, speak without ego, listen without preparing a counterattack, and appreciate without manipulation.

Because many relationships do not fail due to lack of love.

They fail because people do not know how to speak, listen, and understand.

Some of the most important things a book teaches are never written on the page.
Between the lines, you will find fear disguised as anger.
Loneliness disguised as pride.
Love disguised as silence.
The best books don't just tell us what a character did, they invite us to wonder why they did it.
And perhaps that's why I love reading.
Not because every story has the perfect ending, but because every story reminds me that people are often carrying battles we cannot see.
Maybe that's a lesson worth taking beyond the pages.
Read books with your mind.
Read people with your heart.

Starting a series of Books Every Man Must and Should Read.

Book: The Road to Character by David Brooks

A man should not only build success. He should build character.

This book is about humility, discipline, self-control, sacrifice, and becoming someone whose inner life is stronger than his public image.

Before marriage, a man should ask himself:

Am I only chasing status, money, and attention?

Or am I becoming reliable, principled, emotionally mature, and worthy of trust?

Because a good marriage does not need a perfect man.

It needs a man who is honestly trying to become better..

G. K. Chesterton and his Father Brown stories. Way ahead of this time...the author was clearly an academic and a Christian apologist. I really highly recommend the short story 'Blue Cross.' I told all my favorite students at my school about it. His famous one, that a lot of writers seem to love, is 'The Invisible Man.'

As you all are aware, summer time gets busy with so many islamic courses online. People are either off from work if they are teachers (usual targets of islamic classes) and also they dont have school. This summer, we started an old class on the short book, 40 hadith of imam an nawawi from a top shaykh from Canada, shaykh navaid aziz. As you all know, this is a famous book studied in all different schools of thought, salafi and sufi. One may wonder why that is? Imam an nawawi was a shafiee madhab follower but he did not do blind following of imam as shafiee. Also, he was very attached to the hadith of the prophet, even with some of his ash'ari tendencies in usool. So both sufis and salafis try to claim this famous scholar...btw he might be my favorite islamic scholar of all time. More to come on this class. God knows best.

You should be made aware that the curriculums specifically and purposefully omit all of the contributions made by Muslims in order to maintain a white supremacist narrative of world history.
