🌙 Honest question for single Muslim women here…

Would a divorced man automatically become a deal breaker for you if you have never been married before? 🤍

And if not, what things would you personally try to understand more deeply before considering him seriously for marriage?

Because honestly, divorce itself is not always the main issue. Sometimes it’s more about:

– emotional maturity
– accountability
– how he speaks about his past marriage
– communication style
– healing process
– relationship with family/ex-wife (if children involved)
– anger, responsibility, leadership, etc. 🕊️

I feel like situations like this require much deeper observation and discussion, especially for women seeking marriage seriously for the first time.

Curious to understand different perspectives and experiences from other Muslim women out there 🌷✨

Just finished this book which I believe was recommended on a post here a few months back. Loved it. Any recommendations of similar authors and stories? I am a big fan of Khalid Husseini & Nadia Hashimi's books.
