I work 2 jobs, im a student working on my Bachelors in IT & Cybersecurity. I im up most days early so I can be at the masjid for Fajr. I will be 46 this July mashallah. I struggle still with some old behavior before I accepted Islam Al'Humdulillia. At the end of EID MUBARAK, sheaek tells me, brother have you looked for a wife(mind you i had only been Muslim for two weeks). I tell him no, maybe in a year or so. He tells me, brother don't wait. Allah will guide you. Tbh I don't think I am ready to be the husband that Allah (swt) requires a Muslim to be. Maybe im wrong. All i know is that i want to be the best Muslim i can be everyday. So that when Allah (swt) places the wife he has for me in my life I will be ready to be the best husband for her in Islam mashallah.

Attending the two festival prayers and offering sacrificial slaughter to God alone without partner
God the Most High said: “Then when he reached the age to strive alongside him, he said: ‘O my son, indeed I see in a dream that I am sacrificing you, so consider what you think.’ He said: ‘O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if God wills, among the patient.’ Then when they both submitted and he laid him down upon his forehead, We called out to him: ‘O Abraham, you have fulfilled the vision.’ Indeed, thus do We reward the doers of good. Truly this was the clear trial. And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice.”
God the Most High said: “So that they may witness benefits for themselves and mention the name of God during known days over the livestock He has provided for them. So eat from them and feed the miserable and poor.”
God the Most High said: “Say: Indeed my prayer, my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for God, Lord of all worlds. He has no partner. And with this I have been commanded, and I am the first of those who submit.”
God the Most High said: “Say: In the favor of God and in His mercy — in that let them rejoice. It is better than what they accumulate.”
Al-Bara said: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, delivering a sermon in which he said: “The first thing we begin with on this day is that we pray, then we return and slaughter. Whoever does so has followed our way.”

Umm Atiyyah said: We were commanded to come out on the day of the festival, even bringing out young virgin girls from their quarters, and even menstruating women, who would remain behind the people, joining in their declarations of God’s greatness and their supplications, hoping for the blessing and purification of that day.
📚 Authentic Collection of al-Bukhari 971
Hafsah said: We used to prevent our young women from going out on the two festivals. Then a woman arrived and stayed at the palace of Banu Khalaf, and she narrated from her sister whose husband had participated in twelve military expeditions with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and her sister had accompanied him in six of them. She said: “We used to treat the wounded and care for the sick.” My sister asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: “Would there be any harm if one of us does not have an outer garment and therefore does not go out?” He replied: “Let her companion lend her one of her garments, so that she may witness the goodness and the gathering of the believers.” When Umm Atiyyah arrived, I asked her: “Did you hear the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say this?” She replied: “Yes, may my father be sacrificed for him.” She never mentioned him without saying that. She said that she heard him say: “Young women, secluded women, and menstruating women should come out to witness the goodness and the gathering of the believers, while menstruating women should stay away from the prayer area.” Hafsah said: I asked, “Even menstruating women?” She replied: “Do they not attend the standing at Arafah and such occasions?”

Ibn Duraid said:
“A young unmarried woman is one who has nearly reached puberty.”
Al-Nawawi said:
“Women of the private chambers means women who remain inside homes.”
I say:

Ibn Abbas and Jabir ibn Abdullah said: There was no call to prayer on the day marking the end of fasting nor on the day of sacrifice.
📚 Authentic Collection of al-Bukhari 960
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, delivered a sermon to us on the day of sacrifice after the prayer and said: “Whoever performs our prayer and offers sacrifice as we do has correctly performed the sacrifice. Whoever sacrifices before the prayer, then it was merely meat offered before the prayer and not a valid sacrifice.”

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Whoever slaughtered before the prayer must repeat it.”

God the Most High said: “And do not eat from that upon which the name of God has not been mentioned, for indeed it is sinful disobedience.”

I attended the festival of sacrifice with the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, at the prayer ground. When he finished his sermon, he descended from his pulpit, and a ram was brought to him. The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, slaughtered it with his own hand and said: “In the name of God, and God is the Greatest. This is on behalf of me and on behalf of those from my nation who did not offer a sacrifice.”
📚 Authentic Sunan of Abu Dawud 2810, al-Tirmidhi (1521), and Ahmad (14895). Its chain of narration is authentic.
Ibn Umar said that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to slaughter or sacrifice at the prayer ground.

Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, used to go out on the day marking the end of fasting and on the day of sacrifice to the prayer ground. The first thing he would begin with was the prayer. Then he would turn toward the people while they sat in rows, admonishing them, advising them, and giving commands. If he wished to dispatch a military expedition he would do so, or if he wished to command something he would command it, then he would depart. Abu Sa‘id said: The people continued upon this practice until I went out with Marwan, who was the governor of Madinah, on a festival day. When we reached the prayer ground there was a pulpit built by Kathir ibn al-Salt. Marwan intended to ascend it before praying, so I pulled his garment and he pulled away from me and ascended it, delivering the sermon before the prayer. I said to him: “By God, you have changed the practice.” He replied: “O Abu Sa‘id, what you know is gone.” I said: “What I know, by God, is better than what I do not know.” He said: “The people would not remain seated for us after the prayer, so I placed the sermon before the prayer.”

Umar, may God be pleased with him, took a cloak made of thick silk that was being sold in the marketplace and brought it to the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: “O Messenger of God, buy this and adorn yourself with it for the festival and for receiving delegations.” The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, replied: “This is only the clothing of one who has no share in the Hereafter.”

📚 The Book al-Mughni 2/370
Al-Shawkani, may God have mercy on him, said:
“The evidence from this narration regarding the recommendation of beautifying oneself for the festival is that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, approved Umar’s idea of beautifying oneself for the festival, and only objected to that particular garment because it was made of silk.”
📚 The Book Nayl al-Awtar 3/284
Aisha, may God be pleased with her, said: Abu Bakr entered while two young girls from the Helpers were with me singing verses about the Day of Bu'ath. She said: “They were not professional singers.” Abu Bakr said: “Musical instruments of Satan in the house of the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him?” And that was on the day of the festival. So the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “O Abu Bakr, every people have their celebration, and this is our celebration.” In another narration: “Leave them, O Abu Bakr, for these are days of celebration.” Then when he became distracted, I signaled to them and they left.

He lay down on the bed and turned his face away. Then Abu Bakr entered and rebuked me saying: “The flute of Satan in the presence of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him?” The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, turned to him and said: “Leave them.” Then when Abu Bakr became distracted, I signaled to them and they left. It was a day of celebration, and the Ethiopians were playing with shields and spears. Either I asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, or he himself said: “Would you like to watch?” I replied: “Yes.” So he made me stand behind him with my cheek against his cheek while he said: “Carry on, O sons of Arfidah.” He continued until I became tired, then he asked: “Is that enough for you?” I said: “Yes.” He said: “Then go.”
