Hello ladies and gentlemen
JumuAa Mubarak ☺️🥰, May allah accept ur prayer and accept ur duae 😌
As we are not in September I admit that I struggle this time of year, as before I converted it would be the time my family and i would be making preparations for the holidays but I am now alienated completely.
Someone please tell me this is part of the process...

I wanna feel the heart of her tired soles against my chest, to acknowledge the laden steps she’s taken just to prove her worth, and the times she had to run in seclusion for a minute’s rest.
I cannot tell such an ambitious spirit to stop because I’m here. She’s not from a place who watch their men toil alone.
The kind of man to bring her tea right after Fajr, and the kind of woman who’ll fold his prayer mat.
There’s no language barrier here.
I’ve struggled with my mental health since I was about 17. Mental health was never something openly discussed in my family, and even now, my mother especially believes that almost anything can be overcome by simply having a strong mentality and telling yourself that everything is okay.
I’ve tried to live that way for years pushing everything down, fighting with my own mind, and convincing myself that I can handle it. But I’m tired. I’m tired of constantly fighting myself, going through emotional crashes, and feeling trapped inside my own mind while trying so hard not to let any of it show because expressing it sometimes feels like it only causes me more distress.
I finally made an appointment with a psychiatrist and I’m considering medication if they believe it could help me. At this point, I don’t want to keep surviving by forcing myself to be “strong.” I want to feel emotionally regulated and at peace within myself.
As a Muslim, though, I do have one concern: is taking medication for mental health considered haram? I want to seek treatment while still honoring my faith. I would especially appreciate hearing from anyone who has dealt with this from an Islamic perspective. 💝

Just a quick reminder to you and myself: We’re all here looking for someone who’ll be a means of goodness and bring us closer to Allah.
And tomorrow is Friday 🌙 Don’t forget to recite Surah Al-Kahf and make lots of dua.
May Allah write khair for us. Ameen yaarabal Alameena…….
