Hi
@Chandra6351545
Don't make snide remarks to others about manners and etiquette; try taking a good, hard look at yourself in a really big mirror instead. Also, you shouldn't use harsh language when someone points out the right thing to do.

Everyone has the right to find the partner they desire; if they are a good person,
they will be matched with a good person.
This is absolute

You do not choose to go to MAKKAH, it is invitation from ALLAH. May Allah invite all who follow 🙏 💕 or 👍 like. Raining in Makkah last weekend.

Anyone here watching Usuli Insitute's seerah series?

Salaam everyone!
So i love thinking philosophically sometimes and my most recent thought was this: if your dua is granted its only by the mercy of Allah and that effectively means despite our efforts, its ultimately His decision to give something to us or take it away.
this was really important for me to consider because i think i fell into a common trap that others may relate to. i cried so hard begging for something and i did all the right things, dhikr, tahajjud, fasting etc. basically anything i could think of to please Him and stopped some minor sins that i committed too.
but i did all this, truthfully, with the intention that if i was just consistent enough, sincere enough, or could show Him SWT how much i was hurting, that He would grant my dua.
i didn’t realise it at the time, but in a way i was expecting something back from Him because every lecture or video i watched talked about the great things He decrees when you have sabr, keep making dua etc.
but that’s when i realised that no matter how hard i cry, nothing will change if He doesn’t want it to. at first this hit me like a truck. i felt completely overwhelmed that i was so powerless.
but then… i realised that maybe that was the point. nothing we want is guaranteed and perhaps i was wrong for thinking if i was sincere or hurt enough that He would change His mind. so this was a lesson for me.
i could try my hardest but i should stop tying my happiness to a future or a dua that isn’t guaranteed to be granted. learn to find contentment in what He’s already given you.
it’s been over a year now, i’m still waiting. it hurts every day. i cry every other day about it still because ive never wanted something the way i want this. but then i learnt the second half i had missed recently.
which was to wipe my tears and then realise that this pain inside my chest was just that: pain.
Allah was always going to do what He planned and my job was not always to be happy but to realise the importance of staying in the present.
i can’t stress this enough. if there’s something you desperately want, of course make dua and do everything you can, keep sabr and don’t lose hope.
but also? find beauty and happiness where you are and know that you may never get what you wanted because we cannot overpower Allahs decree or wisdom and nor would we want to. and that is a part of the tests but also blessings of this dunya. because this sabr can remind you to focus on what’s in front of you and that’s when you truly connect with your Lord, because… you realise your relationship to Him is and has always been your present reality 💗
may we all strive to appreciate our Lord and not become led astray by the desires in our heart and fall into despair. may we all learn to accept His plan and be content with it, attaching our joy to current blessings, not focused on everything He hasn’t given. Ameen 🤲🤍
