Is friendship allowed in Islam?
I mean talking to opposite gender just as friend respecting boundaries!!!
Some Muslims claim, we are getting in touch just as friend, to pass our free time and killing boredom. We don't do any haram things during chat.
I don't think such kind of connection is allowed in our religion. Without having any reasonable cause either religious or earthly purpose adult Muslims, men and women, are not permitted to talk to non-mahram.
Some even claim, it's like brother and sister relations.
The people who try to defend themselves saying, respecting boundaries, it's okay to do it, I would like to ask a simple question to them - Did our beloved Prophet PBUH have any female friends? (Nawujubillah)
Did any of his wives and his daughter have any male friends? (Nawujubillah)
Did any of his companions, men or women, have any opposite gender connection? (Nawujubillah)
All of these questions' answers are Big Noooooooo.
Then where did you guys got the concept of just friend from?
