Bro-talk ------
What do you think the main reason people are struggling to find their life partner these days?

My next-door brother asked me this question today. He is also struggling to get a practicing wife since ages, now he is in his late 30s and still searching. He is British born and brought up, data analyst, have own house. In a word he is a well established man.

I replied to his question: from my perspective I believe these days the influx access of social media influences us deeply to decide who can be a perfect life partner. Based on social media posts, reels, and watching about other people lifestyle we subconsciously form an overall outlook of our perfect partner without concentrating on our own qualifications.

For example: most man imagine to have a wife who is very much beautiful to other men eyes, has a perfect body structure with curves, overall a physical appearance that is suitable to fulfil his manly desire and lust.

And, most women imagine to have a husband who is 6 feet tall, handsome and of course millionaire. That he is able to fulfill all her materialistic demands, buying new house, new cars according to her choices, take her to world tour every months.

These kinds of materialistic requirements from both men and women are constantly being generated based on social media reels. Very few of us try to realise that almost all of those reels are fabricated and created only for views to earn money. Social media never shows us the real life scenario of those reels couples.

But if we solely focus on what our beloved Prophet PBUH said about choosing a life partner our overall scenario could have been completely different.

I hope you sisters do realise that when you like a brother and then unmatch them, only to tell people that you reject men on a daily basis, you risk causing yourself depression in the future by scamming yourself.

If anything, you need help because it’s not normal behaviour, and in the long run, it’s not really going to end well.

You need to learn how to love yourself first before receiving love. Pretending that people love you, rather than accepting that you don’t love yourself, will only break you in the future.

Society consists of all kinds of people—both good and bad. Therefore, we cannot condemn an entire group based on the mistake or poor behavior of a single individual, whether that person is a man or a woman. Every human being possesses their own unique mindset, character, and identity. Justice demands that we do not punish everyone for the actions of one person; instead, we should evaluate each individual based on their own character and conduct. After all, vice is not the defining trait of any one gender, nor is virtue the exclusive preserve of any single gender.🫶🏻🥰🤗

A big part of life is to accept what happens, accepting qadr destiny is an essence of faith.....whether you perceive it as good or bad it is Allah's plan. Allah always does what is good for us and we cannot see it from a limited understanding.

One thing that helps me is remembering those that are the most beloved to Allah his messengers went through more severe trials and hardships than me.

Another things is I've seen this in my life. I wanting something so bad before and was upset it didn't happen.......it took 7 years and then I realised all this time Allah saved me from something that I didn't even know......and I know if I had gone through that it would have broken me.

Another thing is Allah does not burden a soul with more than it can handle. This reminds me to be patient when I'm struggling because Allah's promise is true.

Whatever you do, try your best, and leave the rest to Allah. Be ambitious but whatever happens it was ordained and what is ordained is better for you. What you made dua for and didn't recieve in this world you will receive mountains of good deeds for you in the next life Ia.
