Funeral Arrangements

Late Musa Ahmed

Aged 7 Years

“Every soul shall taste death, and you will only be given your full compensation on the Day of Resurrection.”
(Surah Āl-’Imrān 3:185)

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Musa Ahmed.

We humbly request your presence in offering Ṣalāt al-Janāzah and making sincere du’ā for Musa and his family during this immensely difficult time.

May Allah ﷻ grant our beloved Musa the highest ranks of Jannatul Firdaus, make him a means of intercession for his parents, reunite his family with him in Paradise, and grant his loved ones beautiful patience (Ṣabr Jamīl). Āmīn.

🕊️ Ghusl (Washing)

Maryam Centre – Entrance 4 (Basement Mortuary)

To ensure the day’s schedule runs smoothly, please arrive promptly. The Ghusl will begin no later than 8:00am.

The washing will take place with Musa’s father, mother and dada present.

Nasir will be conducting the Ghusl.

🤲 Viewing

Approximately 8:30am – 12:45pm

Viewing Room 2

Viewing will commence immediately following the completion of the Ghusl, at approximately 8:30am, and will continue until 12:45pm.

As this is Jumu’ah, the deceased will need to be taken upstairs slightly earlier than usual in preparation for the Janāzah prayers, as five Janāzah prayers are scheduled.

Viewing Room 2 has been allocated exclusively for Musa’s family.

Access to the room will be controlled, and Nasir will be present outside the room to assist with entry.

Once the immediate family have arrived, a family representative is kindly requested to inform Nasir so that the viewing may be restricted to immediate family only.

At approximately 12:00pm, all visitors will be respectfully asked to leave, allowing Musa’s immediate family to spend the final 45 minutes with him in privacy before the Janāzah.

🕌 Jumu’ah Prayer & Ṣalāt al-Janāzah

Jumu’ah begins at 1:20pm

Location: East London Mosque

Brothers: Main Prayer Hall

Sisters: Maryam Centre – 2nd & 3rd Floors

Ṣalāt al-Janāzah will take place immediately following Jumu’ah.

⚰️ Following the Janāzah

Immediately after the Janāzah prayer, Musa’s father, mother and dada are kindly requested to make their way back to the basement mortuary.

Musa will then be respectfully placed into the hearse within the underground loading area before departing directly for the cemetery.

This arrangement has been made to provide the family with privacy and to avoid media attention and unnecessary public congestion.

Further burial details will be shared directly with close family.

Please Keep Musa and His Family in Your Du’ās

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ فَرَطًا وَذُخْرًا لِوَالِدَيْهِ، وَشَفِيعًا مُجَابًا، وَثَقِّلْ بِهِ مَوَازِينَهُمَا، وَأَعْظِمْ بِهِ أُجُورَهُمَا، وَأَلْحِقْهُ بِصَالِحِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، وَاجْعَلْهُ فِي كَفَالَةِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ، وَقِهِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ.

O Allah, make him a forerunner and a treasured reward for his parents, an accepted intercessor on their behalf, make him heavy in their scales of good deeds, unite him with the righteous believers, place him under the care of Prophet Ibrāhīm (peace be upon him), and protect him by Your mercy from the punishment of the Fire. Āmīn.

رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ

“Our Lord, pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims.” (Qur’an 7:126)

May Allah ﷻ grant strength, comfort and unwavering patience to Musa’s parents, grandparents, siblings, relatives and all who loved him.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْبِطْ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ، وَاجْبُرْ كَسْرَهُمْ، وَاجْمَعْهُمْ بِمُوسَى فِي جَنَّاتِ الْفِرْدَوْسِ الْأَعْلَى. آمِين.

O Allah, strengthen their hearts, mend their grief, and reunite them with Musa in the highest gardens of Jannatul Firdaus. Āmīn.

I usually hqve my WA VNs set to 1.5 speed but I've got this 1 friend who i have to set at 2 and they talkkkkkk a lot. I feel really sorry who ends up with them they gona need a lot of patience!! 🤣🤣
