Satan's Rebrand (Long Read)

The air in the 666th-floor boardroom of IBLS Inc was stiflingly hot, smelling faintly of sulfur and expensive Italian leather.

At the head of the obsidian table sat Iblis. He didn’t wear horns or a cape..
he wore a bespoke, razor sharp charcoal thobe
His cuffs were immaculate,
6ft, 6 figured, 6 packed and his eyes burned like dying stars.

He tapped a gold fountain pen against the table, looking at a massive, glowing holographic graph.
The line on the chart was plunging downward.

Human fuel for hell-fire Yields: Q3.

"Succubus & Gentlemen, entities of the lower depths," Iblis’s voice cracked like a whip.

The boardroom of Djinns and high-ranking demons tensed. "Look at these metrics. They are pathetic.

For thousands of years, our legacy products
The Seven Deadly Sins were cash cows.

You tempted a man with a bit of gold, boom,
Greed, straight to hell. You showed a man a mirror, Pride, done. But lately? Humans aren’t buying what we're selling. The 'Guilt factor' is killing our conversion rates.
They commit a sin, they feel bad, they repent, and we lose the account."

Iblis slammed his palms on the table.
"We are losing market share to the competition upstairs!

I called this emergency board meeting because our core product line needs an immediate, aggressive, top to bottom corporate rebrand.

We outlive these cattles, surely we should be able to predict how their offsprings turn out,
We have an influencer in every home,
the waswasa sales pitch is lacking.

We need to strip the guilt out of the user experience.
Chief Marketing Djinn, Azazel, step up.
What do you have for me?"
Azazel, a Djinn with skin like smoke and eyes like burning coal, cleared his throat and clicked a remote.

The hologram shifted to show a massive plate of artisanal pasta shot in high-definition 4K.

Product 1: Gluttony as "The Foodie Experience"

"Boss, let's start with Gluttony," Azazel said, bringing up a graph showing a massive spike in user engagement. "Historically, Gluttony was a tough sell. People felt bloated, shameful, and pigs were associated with it. Ugly branding. So, we killed the word entirely. We are relaunching Gluttony as 'Foodie Culture.'"
Iblis narrowed his eyes. "Explain the mechanism."
"We make eating excessive amounts of food a hobby, Boss.

We tell them that if they pay £300 for a tasting menu at a restaurant with three-month waiting lists, it’s not sinning it’s culture.

We give them cameras. They don't just overeat, they photograph it, post it, and review it.
They can't even boil an egg at home, but they’ll drive across the state for a hyped-up burger.
We’ve turned a base physical urge into an intellectualized personality trait. Zero guilt, maximum consumption."

Iblis smiled, a terrifying flash of white teeth. "Brilliant. Next."

Product 2: Lust as  "The Self-Actualized Roster"

A sleek, logo flashed on the screen, followed by images of dating app interfaces.

"Lust was facing high resistance due to traditional morality," Azazel continued. "So we pivoted.
We aligned Lust with 'wellness' and the 'creator economy'.
For the consumer, a rotating roster of disposable sexual partners is no longer called debauchery it's framed as a 'Healing Era' or 'Finding Oneself.' It's therapeutic!"
"And for the providers?" Iblis asked, leaning forward.
"We commodified it under the banner of financial empowerment.
We introduced platforms like 'OnlyFans'. Now, indulging in or selling Lust isn’t a sin, it’s 'supporting independent creators' and 'hustle culture.' We’ve made Lust a business model.

They aren’t yielding to carnal desires, they are managing an asset portfolio.

Product 3: Greed as "The Hustle"

The hologram shifted to show stock tickers, flashing luxury watches, and clips of young men shouting into podcasts.
"Greed used to look like Ebenezer Scrooge hoarding coins in a dark room. Very uncool," Azazel explained. "We rebranded Greed into
'The Hustle' and 'Financial Freedom.' If a human ignores their family, exploits their workers, and ruins their health for money, they aren't greedy they are just 'scaling their passive income' and 'building an empire.' We taught them to look at every human relationship as a transaction for maximum ROI.
They praise each other for it!"

Product 4: Envy as  "Manifestation"

An image of a private jet with the word #Inspo plastered across it appeared.
"This one is my favorite," Azazel beamed. "Envy used to make people feel bitter and miserable, which sometimes led to self-reflection.
We fixed that. Now, when a human covets their neighbor’s lifestyle, car, or body, they don't feel envious. They say they are 'manifesting' it.
They look at someone else's wealth and call it 'Inspiration' or 'Goals.' It keeps them trapped in a perpetual cycle of wanting what others have, but they think they are practicing spirituality."

And if they don't manifest it, they make their future husbands do it, we can influence them to say stuff like, "men used to go to war" drum up the divide so it's a two for one hell admission.

Product 5: Sloth as "The Soft Life"

The screen showed a person wrapped in a designer blanket, staring blankly at a smartphone, surrounded by empty delivery boxes.
"Sloth had a terrible reputation. Laziness, apathy, wasted talent," Azazel said. "Our new campaign completely flips the narrative. Extreme unproductivity and total withdrawal from duty is now called 'The Soft Life' or 'Protecting My Peace.'

If they ignore their responsibilities for three days straight to scroll social media, they aren't being lazy they are 'healing their nervous system' and setting boundaries against toxic hustle culture. We use their own psychology to keep them completely paralyzed."

Product 6: Wrath  "Accountability Culture"

The boardroom screen erupted into a chaotic feed of angry tweets, public shaming videos, and fiery comment sections.
"Wrath used to look messy red-faced screaming, bar fights. Too obvious," the Djinn said. "We modernized it into
'Holding People Accountable' and 'Speaking My Truth.'
We gave them the digital colosseum.
Now, they can unleash absolute malice, cruelty, and ruin a person's life from the comfort of their keyboard, all while holding the moral high ground. They get a dopamine hit of righteousness while doing the devil's work."

This one is still our strongest seller,  The religious fanatics and the self declared smart ones are our top patrons.

Product 7: Pride as "Main Character Energy"

Finally, a massive golden mirror appeared on the screen, surrounded by floating "Like" icons.
"And lastly, the crown jewel. Pride. The root of all our products," Azazel whispered reverently. "We stopped calling it arrogance. We rebranded it as 'Unapologetic Self-Love' and 'Main Character Energy.'
We convinced them that the universe revolves entirely around their personal narrative.
Taking fifty photos of their own face a day isn’t vanity, it’s 'building a personal brand.'
Refusing to compromise or admit fault isn't stubbornness.
It's giving 'knowing your worth.'"

Attention economy is the newest era of currency.
Their sheer entitlement because of they think they're God's gift..yuk..
but the projection is very promising.
About two thirds have unknowingly purchased this product on subs alone.

As long as we can continue to keep man and woman divided, we will see record breaking results.

Azazel switched off the projector.
The boardroom fell silent. The Djinns waited, holding their breath.
Iblis stood up, slowly walking over to the window, looking out over the sprawling, fiery metropolis of Hell. A slow, wicked grin spread across his face. He turned back to the board.

"Genius," Iblis whispered. "By changing the vocabulary, we’ve eliminated the need for temptation.
They are actively marketing the sins to themselves.

Push the rebrand to all earthly sectors immediately."
He picked up his gold pen, signing the executive order.
"Gentlemen, hell is going to need a bigger parking lot."

Drifting Wolf.

Do you get judged for your profession?
For me I'm one of the most timid person in the room , with an average look but when people come to know what I do they'll look twice and give extra attention. I absolutely loath this and this makes me not to disclose what I do till the very last moment.

Why would someone pose in front of a G-Wagon? Whether it's theirs or not is a different topic. But do men really think this is some kind of power play, or that showing off your wealth would lure a spouse?

This is such an ICK behaviour 🤢🤮
