1. If you're meeting a potential (future wife) in their home halal setting; ask their wali that you'd like your prospect wife to make fresh wudu before meeting, because you want to see her, your potential, without any makeup. ✓

If they ask why, be honest and say it’s fair to want to see her natural face without makeup, as that's a life time commitment and makeup nowadays can portray a person compeltely different than how they look otherwise. (If that matters to you.)

2. You should also make wudu yourself in front of her wali if needed (men should not be wearing makeup anyway). ✓

Nowadays, the amount of products in makeup can be utterly misleading, so it’s better to avoid any such surprises after nikkah.
