I’m tired of muting posts from that one Southeast Asian country. Every time I open the app, it’s another cringe photo shoot, another dramatic video (someone’s eating) or another main character moment. At this point, my mute button is working harder than I am. Have mercy, guys.

Why are all the young guys sending me DMs? Have the supply of mature men here been wiped out?
They say women’s standards are too high.
But have you heard a woman describe a good daughter in law? Have you ever heard a son’s mother explain why she rejected a girl for being too fat, too educated, too successful and too opinionated?
Do we really want our ummah to be raised by women who voluntarily become slaves and martyrs just to appease egos? Why?
Why are we not focusing on creating love and companionship and comfort in marriage. Why is it all about what his mother expects of the daughter in law? And why she’s being difficult about living with the family? And how she thinks she’s a boss babe or a feminist?
Don’t we want intelligent Muslim women and kids in our community?
Don’t we want the protection of Muslim women to be so high that only Muslim men can match their standards? Why do we want less education in our communities when propaganda is tearing us down?
An educated woman means an educated generation. A woman with boundaries means a family and community that can’t be destroyed by a few words of media phrases.
We want the Muslim identity stronger. So can we stop idealizing passive women who are quiet and don’t know her rights?
Why do these woman all pose the same and have no soul in their pictures? Smile, fake for the picture, looking to the left or right, not really looking at anything, hurry take the picture. Leg up, why is that? Just be true and take a picture with passion and emotions. Literally all the pictures are the few poses.
Girls, are you comfortable sharing or exchanging social media with someone you've only talked to online and never met in person? Why or why not?
Another man lying about having children. Women have to ask even if profile says no children because of these spineless ones. You lot are not a father, or a man to be respected or valued.
Why do ladies get offended when I say things like:
“You look beautiful for your age”
“You don’t even need all that make up on your face”
“What dishes can you cook?”
I try my best to compliment them but they still take it the wrong way 🥲
