Can we normalise saying "Allah protected me from that" instead of "dodged a bullet"? Luck didn't move you out of the way. He did.

The Americano Incident,Military-Buzz Beard,and 198-Centimeter Gravity (Felix’s Version)
By.‌🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌

Second-floor café with large glass windows overlooking the rain-slicked city streets. At 4:00 PM,🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌
(feeling prime, cream oversized jacket,straight-leg jeans) was busy hunting for a wall outlet while carrying a tray of hot matcha and cheesecake.Crash!

Not some cheesy melodrama collision,a solid shoulder-to-chest impact that nearly sent the matcha flying.🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌ staggered back a step, realizing she’d walked straight into a moving concrete wall.A wall that was muscular, warm, and wrapped in a vintage brown leather jacket.

🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌ looked up.Kept looking up.Neck gave a faint little crack.Good lord.This guy easily cleared 198 cm,practically 2 meters tall.Endless legs,arcade-cabinet shoulders,and the detail that short-circuited all sanity : a thick beard trimmed super short and dense,pitch-black,uniform and tight like a military buzz cut,framing a razor-sharp jawline without a single stray hair.

The scent hit her instantly : bourbon vanilla mixed with roasted coffee beans Expensive,ultra-manly,enough to make you faint, except you'd hate to miss a second of it.

"Sorry," his low baritone voice rumbled in surround-sound right by 🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌'s ear because he had to dip down about 30 centimeters just to look at her face.Clean skin starkly contrasting that military-tight buzz beard.Insane, macho webtoon action-romance energy.

🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌,whose soul immediately switched to main character mode, didn't panic ; she just blinked cute."Relax,Mas.Matcha's still safe. It's just my heart that nearly took off for the runway."

The giant, let's call him Felix, let out a low chuckle.Gravelly and deep. His massive, veined hand with fine golden hair across the knuckles reflexively steadied 🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌’s tray.Index finger hovering barely a centimeter from hers.

"Taking off by land or air?"he teased, dark eyebrows arching, dark brown eyes dropping to the top of🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌'s head sitting right at his broad-chested altitude."Private jet straight to your hug if the landing gear cooperates," 🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌ whispered half-voice,delusional and fearless.

Checkmate. The buzz-beard guy froze for half a second, the corner of his mouth twitching into a side-smirk.Rare visual unlocked.

Act 2 : Misplaced Tables & The Book-Left-Behind Play

Five minutes later, destiny (aided by a cashier who messed up table numbers) landed them at the same long communal table because the café was packed.

🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌ stirred her matcha, pretending to read an e-book while actually side-eyeing the reflection in the glass. The 198 cm tall guy was typing away on his laptop, plain black t-shirt sleeves rolled up high, showing off aesthetic lean-muscular arms with popping veins. That dense buzz beard looked even sharper and darker when he glanced over.

Gulp.🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌ mentally dialed the grim reaper to request a reschedule because this visual was straight-up illegal.Suddenly,Felix snapped his laptop shut.Turned right toward 🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌.Face-to-face line of sight locked the exact second 🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌ turned her head back.

"Your name’s 🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌,right?"the giant asked out of nowhere.‌🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌’s eyes went wide."How'd you know?!"

He pointed a finger at 🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌’s phone case featuring a small custom name sticker. "I'm Felix." Felix leaned his nearly two-meter frame back into the booth, making the surrounding atmosphere shrink. He dipped his head lower, locking a penetrating gaze at close range. That buzz beard really was military-grade dense and clean.

"Felix," 🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌ steadied her voice so it wouldn't shake. "You're way too tall for standard café seating like this.Doesn't your neck hurt from constantly looking down?"

Felix smiled, that same self-aware,macho grin.Out of nowhere,he slid his seat closer, pulling his massive frame tight.Broad shoulder pressing right against 🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌'s.The 198 cm warm radiation boxed her in.

Felix lifted a large,softly-haired hand, gently tugging the hem of ‌🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌'s cream hoodie. "Doesn't hurt. Fits just right to block the view of the table next to us that's been staring at my keychain all afternoon."THUMP.

He used the word keychain again!Damn it,he totally knew 🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌'s height put her squarely in aesthetic-keychain-range of his armpit/chest zone.

Act 3 : The Golden Hug (Delusion Climax)

Right as the café was closing up,the rain outside poured harder.Felix stood up,towering like a human twin-tower.He grabbed his leather jacket, then, zip,he caught 🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌ shivering because her cream hoodie wasn't heavy enough.

Without a second thought,Felix spun around, flung the leather jacket over 🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌'s shoulders, and, pull.🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌ automatically lifted/drifted right into the embrace of that bourbon-vanilla-scented broad chest.🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌’s face practically swallowed into Felix’s chest wall.Nose hit clean fabric, crushed against hard-yet-cushiony muscle architecture, with Felix’s chin resting right on top of 🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌’s head.Literally,a 198 cm to 168 cm hug felt like a god-tier security blanket.Warm, macho, safe, and slightly sinful for a twilight-youth soul.

Felix tilted his head down just an inch, that dense military buzz-beard brushing softly against the crown of 🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦‌'s head as he murmured right by her ear :
"Tomorrow at 4 PM,right here.Bring a heavier coat,Keychain. We’re finding outside air built for two."

The café door swung open, night air rushing in,leaving 🇨‌‌🇭‌‌🇮‌‌🇰‌‌🇦standing frozen in the parking lot, hugging Felix’s leather jacket still lingering with musk-vanilla.

The Loneliness Paradox
One of the more interesting contradictions of the digital age is that the people who seem most desperate to be heard can sometimes be the least connected in real life.

There’s a growing correlation linking social isolation and a lack of meaningful, face-to-face friendships with greater hostility and antagonism online.

The screen becomes a peculiar kind of emotional substitute, a place where frustration can be broadcast, strangers can be attacked, and outrage can temporarily masquerade as connection.

Which makes you wonder…
When someone is consistently furious with strangers on an app like this, are they really expressing an opinion, or inadvertently revealing something about the quality of their life beyond the screen ?

Perhaps the most intellectually empathetic response to someone rage baiting or frothing from the mouth isn’t to retaliate, but to be kind.
After all, you never know when someone’s greatest source of human interaction is a level headed argument with a stranger on the internet.

And that, perhaps, is the real loneliness paradox.
