You won't always be perfect.
You'll skip workouts.
You'll eat pizza. You'll stay up late.
And that's okay.
Just come back to the basics: Walk. Eat healthy. Lift. Sleep.
Would you rather know a painful truth or live a happy lie?
Whoever abandoned you in the middle of the ocean has no right to know what the sharks did to you or how you managed it to the shore.😑
Your life is not what happens to you.
Your life is your interpretation of what happens to you.
The story you tell yourself becomes the path you walk.
Change the lens, and you change the future.
Chronic stress activates
your sympathetic nervous system, shifting your body into fight-or-flight mode.
This can lead to issues like increased inflammation, poor digestion, and a weakened immune system.
Whenever I tried myself to see a psychologist or psychiatrist in person, the dr told me or even mum to get closer to Allah, bc Allah is the only the best Helper. The dr didn’t want me to take medicines or else. Even tho sometimes I get overwhelmed and I question my self “what is wrong with me?”. But then I get way closer to Allah by remembering Him. And the only thing that truly makes me at ease, is accepting of what Allah has written for me.
But sometimes it’s bc of the hormone of PMS which makes me overwhelmed. It’s just temporary, Alhamdulillah.
What has had the biggest impact on your life so far—therapy, books, faith, coaching, fitness, meditation, or something else? Always interested in meeting people who are intentionally working on themselves.
People without empathy see your emotions as weakness. People with empathy see them as signs of what you've survived.
But real wisdom knows the difference between understanding a scar and letting it control you.
Came back home frm work and broke down crying out... Too much emotions and thoughts going on..
