The Month That Returned Our Names to the Sky
We have become fluent in introductions.
What do you do?
Who are you?
Tell me about yourself.
And we answer without hesitation.
Our names.
Our titles.
Our achievements.
How strange.
We can spend a lifetime introducing ourselves to creation...
yet spend so little time introducing our hearts to their Creator.
Then Ramadan arrives.
Without raising its voice, it begins taking things away.
Food.
Sleep.
Comfort.
Distraction.
Until one question remains standing.
Not,
Who are you?
But,
Whose are you?
What a beautiful question.
One the world is too busy to ask.
For a month, the applause grows quieter.
The heart grows louder.
The world no longer cares whether we are important.
The prayer mat doesn't ask for our title.
The Qur'an doesn't ask for our salary.
The empty stomach doesn't ask for our reputation.
They ask only one thing.
"Did you come seeking Allah?"
Perhaps that was Ramadan's quiet miracle.
It never came to change our names.
It came to peel away everything that made us forget them.
Until all that remained was the most honourable name a person could ever carry.
A servant of Allah.
And perhaps...
that has always been the only introduction that truly mattered.

Salam Everyone.....🌸
I Have A Serious Question To Ask.
I Know It's A Bit Long, But I'd Really Appreciate It If You Could Take A Few Minutes To Read It Because It's Important. I'd Also Love To Hear Your Thoughts And Opinions. Thank You....✌🏻
Parents Be Like: I Created You Therefore I'm Allowed To Be Mean To You And I'm Allowed To Disrespect Your Boundaries 💔 Also We Are Allowed To Make Any Decision Of Your Life And Your Opinion Doesn't Matter ❌ And If You Demand Better Treatment I'm Allowed To Guilt Trip You By Reminding You That I Fed, Clothed, And Housed You Even Tho That's My Responsibility As A Parent 🙃
I’ve Seen Some Parents Treat Their Children So Harshly, And It Honestly Breaks My Heart 💔 Yes, Respecting Parents Is Important But What About The Children? Why Is It That Parents Always Remember Their Own Rights, Yet Forget That In Islam, Children Have Rights Too? Why Is That So Easy To Ignore? 🤍
The Constant Comparisons Hurt More Than People Realize “Look At Your Cousin, They’re So Perfect, And Then There’s You.” Do You Even Understand What That Does To A Child? It Slowly Destroys Their Self-Worth 💭 Every Child Is Different. Every Child Has Their Own Strengths, Their Own Pace, Their Own Journey 🌱 Why Can’t That Be Enough?
And Then You Decide Their Entire Life For Them 🎭 I’m Not Saying Don’t Guide Them Or Stop Them From Making Harmful Choices But Why Force Them Into Careers They Don’t Want? Why Is It Always “You Have To Be A Doctor Or An Engineer,” Even If Their Heart Is Somewhere Else?
And Marriage The Biggest Decision Of Their Life they Don’t Even Get A Say In It 💍 If They Try To Speak Up, Suddenly They’re “Disrespectful.” If They Don’t Obey, Emotional Blackmail Begins 😔 Why Does Love Turn Into Pressure Like This?
What Hurts Even More Is When A Child Trusts You Enough To Share Their Feelings, Their Fears, Their Weaknesses and Instead Of Protecting That Trust, You Use It Against Them 💔 You Tell Others, You Humiliate Them, You Break Them From The Inside 😞 Do You Realize What That Does? It Shatters Their Confidence, Their Trust… Their Ability To Feel Safe With You 🥀
And Then One Day, That Same Child Grows Quiet. Distant. They Stop Sharing. They Stop Trusting 🤐 And Parents Ask, “What Happened To Them? Why Are They Like This Now?”
But The Truth Is… By Then, It’s Already Too Late ⏳ That Child Has Already Learned To Suffer In Silence. They’ve Already Become Emotionally Distant. Not Because They Wanted To But Because They Had To 💭
A Child Who Doesn’t Receive Love At Home Will Still Crave It They’ll Just Start Searching For It Elsewhere 🌍 And Not Everyone Out There Has Good Intentions ⚠️ Sometimes, That Search Leads To More Pain, More Damage, More Heartbreak 💔
So Please… Before It’s Too Late, Change The Way You Love Your Children 🤍 Don’t Just Provide For Them Understand Them. Don’t Just Control Them Connect With Them 💞 Be The Place They Run To, Not The Place They Run From 🏡
And If You Remember Your Own Rights As Parents, Then Please Remember Their Rights Too ⚖️ Just Feeding A Child, Giving Them Clothes, And Meeting Basic Needs Is Not Enough ❌ A Child Doesn’t Just Need To Survive They Need Love, Emotional Support, Trust, Respect, And Understanding 🌸 Some Parents Think They’ve Done Their Duty By Providing Things, But They Forget That A Child Needs Them, Not Just What They Give 💭
Because In The End, It’s Not What You Provide… It’s How You Make Them Feel 💫
Don’t Wait Until It’s Too Late… Because Some Distances, Once Created, Can Never Truly Be Undone 🕊️ Because Once A Child Learns To Live Without Your Love… They Might Never Come Back Looking For It Again 💔

The best preparation for the Hereafter
A man asked the Prophet ﷺ: “When will the Hour come?” The Prophet ﷺ replied: “What have you prepared for it?” The man said: “Not much prayer or fasting, but I love Allah and His Messenger.”
The Prophet ﷺ said: أَنْتَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْت
“You will be with those whom you love.”
The lesson is simple, do not only ask when the Hour will come. Ask yourself what you have prepared for it.
Love Allah, His Messenger ﷺ, and the righteous, and let that love lead you to follow them. That is the best preparation for that Day.
