This is just my personal observation, not a conclusion about everyone, but I've been wondering if some of us on these apps are chasing the feeling of connection more than the reality of a relationship. Right? Life's already full. Work, kids, habits, responsibilities. And then there's that quiet lonely space that gets soothed by a match or a message. But a real relationship means compromise, disruption, making room.

So the question I'm left with is whether we're asking the right thing.

Do we want a relationship? Or the feeling a relationship gives?

And if someone real showed up, imperfect, complex, would we actually make room for them?
