Using the death penalty as a deterrent for an act, regardless of how shameful it is, completely misses the point of Islamic mercy and justice. We do not worship the mosque itself, we worship Allah . Therefore, elevating a building's sanctity above the value of a human soul feels so wrong.
A person’s life is infinitely more valuable than the four walls they committed a sin within.
They should have had the opportunity to live a full life that wasn’t defined by that act, one where they were not used as a “deterrent”

CAGE International is naming Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, a War on Terror prisoner of conscience.
