Not to be rude or anything, but I just wanted to ask if anyone else experiences this. I’ve been on Muzz for about a year now, and I hardly get any likes back. The funny part is that the likes I do receive are mostly from people living on the other side of the world rather than from the area where I actually live. 😅
It’s a bit strange and honestly a little frustrating because it’s not easy to build a relationship with someone living thousands of miles away across the sea.
Is this just my experience, or is this pretty normal on Muzz? 🤔

So to all my young brothers and sisters, I would like to ask you for some advice this time:
1/ So I wanted to see if I could grow a following online as an advice based content creator inshallah? I wish to change my username to something more fun and engaging.
2/ Do you think that someone of my age can be a decent content creator - or do you think content creating is for a much younger scene? Would be good to get feedback as I’d love to do like a channel on step-parenting, parenting issues, discussion surrounding difficult subject matter within the Muslim community.

Yesterday at Tesco, I spoke to a lady I see quite often. Out of curiosity, I asked her age, and she told me she was 60. She had just finished work after starting at 8 in the morning and was only getting home around 10 at night. It honestly made me admire her work ethic.
It also made me reflect on our own communities. Sometimes, especially in South Asian culture, people feel that once they reach their forties or fifties, they should slow down or stop pursuing much outside the home. Of course, taking care of our parents is a duty and a blessing, but sometimes cultural expectations can make people give up their own interests, growth, or independence earlier than they need to.
If you’re not married, I don’t think life has to be put on hold. Follow your hobbies, go hiking, travel if you can, meet new people, talk to strangers, spend time with family, pray, keep learning, and make the most of the time Allah has given you. Marriage is a beautiful part of life, but it shouldn’t be the only thing that gives life meaning.
